Conor Benn went from being a raw prospect with no amateur career to suddenly knocking everyone out.

in hindsight it was very su****ious.

Except promoters aren't the owners but the employees.

Promoters work for the fighter, not the other way around.

Who cares if it's "trace amounts?" It's a female fertility drug! Why would any be in your blood? That's like having trace amounts of semen in your stomach! LOL!

So what's the answer? How did such substance get into his system? Any article that answers such simple question? This is the only question most people want to know. Nothing else. If he can't or won't answer such question, then he deserves to be treated the way he's treated now. Like the renowned TV doctor Phil says, "You can't solve a problem you don't want to acknowledge."

Tbf, I once read an article that said they tested McDonald's mayonnaise and it had 5 different people's semen in it. No joke lol

Yeah when I read that it’s a female fertility drug, guilty. There’s no “accidental” ingestion of that. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing.

We need to start banning boxers for doing this type of sh#t, honestly.

I'm not sure about the employer/employee relationship in a work contract most fighters sign with a promoter. Let's assume what you say is true, that Hearn, the promoter, is employed by Benn, the fighter. If Benn had told his promoter about the positive drug test back in July and then Hearn STILL went ahead with a fight event, should Eddie be held accountable for allowing a cheater to enter the ring for the sake of Matchroom profit?

Because the laws regarding such infractions are so lame and enforced only by local athletic commissions whose moral compass may be equally lame, the sport relies essentially on promoter ethics to hold or cancel a fight. e.g. Bob Arum and Oscar Valdez.

So all that time after July indicated it was most likely taken again which is deliberate. I hope I'm wrong because there have been a couple cases where a fighter tested positive for something that they did not intend to use as a performance enhancer like Luis Ortiz who used a legitimate prescription medicine that had a component to it. Granted, Luis should have had his people check everything, but it was not taken on intent.
You are supposed to report all prescription medications at a drug test, thats standard practice. Of course diuretics are on the banned list, i dont see whats so special about ortiz.

Thats even more amusing because that means conor and benn both tested positive for the same type of drug so what is the point of even testing, they are all on peds like I been saying and if they are both on peds then just let them fight already
