Comments Thread For: Jaron Ennis Wonders Why Team Crawford Didn't Offer Him The Fight

Having worked his way up from the ground floor, Jaron "Boots" Ennis believed that his time to show and prove had essentially arrived. But even after racking up a spotless record through 29 career fights and a top three ranking in all four sanctioning bodies, the Philadelphia slugger was willing to forgo a world title opportunity while the division's top two names duke it out.

Because Crawford ain't ******. Why would you fight Ennis, who has a good chance against anyone.

You gotta be Leonard or Hearns material to want to fight Boots.

Would’ve been nice. If BLK could pay Ennis w/e they’re paying Ava, it’s a bigger show, but. Ennis is also exclusive to showtime. Making negotiations suddenly much more complicated as showtime demands sole distributer rights of the PPV in the US in a fight between to US fighter’s in the US.

Because he doesn’t want to get beaten up. No one NO ONE wants to fight Ennis…NO ONE.

Maybe Ennis gets to fight Spence first, and Crawford second? One can dream... Somehow I'd prefer to see Spence - Ennis as they are more evenly matched physically.

Crawford didn't curve Spence to take an even harder fight.

Why would Bud fight you for less $ when he can’t work out a much more lucrative deal to fight another PBC fighter. It looks lime Bud took a page from Fury’s playbook after the 1st Wilder fight
