Bud selected him because he wants a stay-busy-fight and fulfill his mandatory duty. Ava checks both boxes.

let’s be real, no champion will call Boots to offer him a shot. He will have to take the long way and force his mandatory status same way Spence did with Brooks. Even then, they’ll probably vacate before facing him.

So you are saying that Crawford keeps going after Spence because he can beat him?

Boots going the IBF route would not be surprised if he fights Cody Crowley or Butaev in a interim IBF title fight next.

The answer is pretty simple, Crawford does not want to fight anyone that poses a threat unless it offers cash out money, again, Crawford does not want to fight anyone that poses a threat unless they offer cash out money. And even then it's like pulling teeth to get him to sign, we just saw that in the Spence negotiations, rumors are that he was offered 10 million plus incentives, which is a career high purse but apparently it wasn't enough, instead he decided to take 2 million and a a easier fight. But are we surprised? I mean, you shouldn't be, Crawford is 35 and no significant fights, no dangerous opponents, and yet there is people out there who actually think this guy is P4P based on him becoming undisputed beating some paper champions?

Whispering Bud wants a train load of money for Spence , Boots . He made around $20m with Bob for fighting lower level opponents then sued him on a racial angle ...
time for this fool to ride off in to the sunset , seems he's gone with the diva , look at me. Would love to see Spence fight boots .

Real simple answer....Jarron Einnis never made an offer to Terrance Crawford and David Avanesyan offered Crawford 10 million.

The real question....why would Crawford fight a guy with no name that nobody knows that never made more than $400,000. Justsayn.

Of course, OLD boxers don’t want to loose to young top talent. That’s nothing new.
