350k us buys is pretty lame no matter whos fighting who. I agree the US played a big part of building Hatton up. Its a buisness . He sold tickets and won fights and was undefeated. He was prime for a mega fight. I think Mayweather would have made more $$ if he went over ther to fight him though!

350 buys is lame if you are Oscar. Its decent if you have a name facing a nobody. Was it Lame when pac vs Diaz did 250k buys?

The point is he didnt go down hill in his popularity. Win or lose he was in there with some big names. He was becomimg more popular outside the ring as he was inside the ring. He kept up his golden boy image and made more fans along the way. His prime was great and he was huge. The thing is he remained huge [marketing] and got more popular with the normal household casual Fan base. Example: My mom isnt a fan of boxing. Does not know who Tito is or Mayweather for that fact. Has no interest in boxing at all, but knows who DLH is and has seen some of his fights and for the life of her dont know anyone hes fought. LOL !!! There are tons of Casual Fans who dont care about boxing and its fighters that only ride the hype train.
The reason i asked that was because Oscar never did those numbers again even though you claim he got more popular he did less buys. Only the Floyd fight was bigger.

I honestly believe never thought that. He was just mouthing off because he was tired of all the crap that he and Manny get, especially from Floyd Sr.

Mayweather hits and doesn't give many oppertunites to get hit back. Cotto at least will be more of a target. I think Cotto has a great shot in the fight and many are over looking him. If Pac were to get past Cotto I would love to see the gameplan they would have for Mayweather.
theres no reason left for floyd not to stop jmm. he made a lightweight move up to welter, a guy who never fought above 135. he didnt make the 144 limit and refused to weigh on fight night maybe because hes weighing too much against a guy who came to the fight at 148. if humberto soto moved up from 130 to 140 looking fat, weak and slow to fight pac and he didnt get knocked out, the world ****s on pac. if katsidis moved up from 135 to 147 looking fat, weak and slow to fight cotto and didnt get knocked out, people will **** on cotto

WHAT!!!!!! how many Southpaws have beat him?

How many southpaws have gave him trouble in an entire fight!!!!!!!!!..NOT 1 punch...not a round here or a round there.....

whats a 12 round Judah?...oh are we still holding Zab to the ..."if he was focused" standard?

lmao@ his defenses ONLY gap? and U mean to tell me 40 PRO fighters havent been able to penetrate that defensive gap?....

Manny is EASY work for Mayweather...he would outbox him in the middle of the ring with ease
