Im a fan of mayweathers to an extent, his conflicted additude is the most intruiging in boxing, and it shows when the same people who claim to not find his fights exciting, who claim he is such a fraud, who claim they never buy or watch his ppvs, continue to give him the attention he warrants. Ill never understand that.Comment

Oscar Tito was one of the biggest selling fights in history. Oscar was prime and at the height of his popularity. Yes I saw the fight. JMM did not throw punches because Mayweather was countering everything and used defense to negate most of the punches from getting through.
Mayweather had very little to do with numbers. He knows it. He picks Hatton...because he knows what Hatton does in numbers. He picks JMM because and i quote " He's got a country behind him"! Although his countrymen
Plus casual fans were not as interested in the fight! It was a Failure and a black eye to the sport.
Manny/Cotto will do great. Both fighters like to fight. Manny picking bigger guys.
Floyds only hope to be PART of a big event is Manny! Floyd wont make this fight any bigger to the casual fan.
You are a die hard Fan. If not you wouldnt be on a site like this. You'd be playing games or Jackin to **** or whatever. But you have a interest in this fight because you are a die Hard. Understandable! Im a die hard fan and will pay to see it. Although i dont like like Floyd only because Manny is fighting and I watch all fights.Comment

This is sig worthy by the the way. I don't get down like that but If you don't understand why this statement was ridiculous then I don't know what to tell you.Last edited by M.I Truth ?; 09-22-2009, 02:58 PM.Comment

I know Ocar/Tito was huge in selling and also a mega fight...My point was it wasnt as big as DLH/May reason...DLH got even bigger than he was in popularity since the DLH/Tito fight... Was a big part in numbers for DLH/May

I just dont understand why you would bother watching or talking about a guy who is so boring, such a fraud and such a disgrace to boxing. If i thought that about a certain fighter, i wouldnt even waste my time discussing him is my point.

Seriously...Im pissed and I think the guy is bad for the sport. On the other hand
I know he can make it waaaaaaay more exciting. Paying 600k to have your way with a light weight is disgusting. And let peoples voices be heard.**** it. Im not the only one who disagrees with it or hating on the guy. Have you searched the web and seen the bad reviews on this fight and him? Ive never seen Floyd as great to be honest. He could be if he fought the best and beat him. If negative attention is what he wants than he will get it from me. If he steps up id have nothing but good to say but hes a long way from that. Example: If someone on here says Floyds great...Yet he hasnt fought the best...I got a problem with it. and i will be on every thread voicing it because its what makes this site and others moving. Im not going to ride the Floyd Band wagon so everyone else can like me . I can care less. I hope this helps you understand a little. No hard feelings!Comment

Do you think Oscar stopped growing in popularity after the Tito fight? If you dont than you shouldnt have an issue understanding the statement. You tell me why you think its crazy?Comment
