Let's not forget that AJ has a trilogy with Ruiz, mega-fight with Wilder and a rematch with Dillian Whyte that would be big-money bouts. He could potentially face Joyce, Dubious, and Otto Wallin, as a gate-keeper. And, Jared Anderson, Tony Yoka, or Martin Bakole if some promoter wanted to fork over the money to advance their contender's career.

I just listed 9 reasonable options for AJ- AND NOT ONE of them was Fury. On the other hand, Fury is constantly changing his mind and is running short on easy-overseas options. What is his plan after Chirosa? Usyk? Then what? He's not fighting Joyce; he's not fight Ruiz. Is he going to fly Deontay over for the IV fight?

AJ is a 2x Heavyweight champion , who is coming off of back-to-back defeats to a man that is the first Undisputed Cruiserweight to become Heavyweight champion since Evander Holyfield. Mike Tyson lost to Evander TWICE - yet literally no one cares. (This is not to compare AJ's abilities to Mike; that would be heinous; rather, to show, we are dealing with the highest level of boxing in the heavyweight division, regardless of era).

AJ will have a stellar remainder to his career; Fury, meanwhile, with go out in lackluster fashion- as a known PED fraud should.
I'll put you down for a ticket for him and Washington then.......

Let's face it Ruiz lost to Parker was floored by old Arreola and only really looked good hammering Joshua .
The plan was to hammer Joshua , do a number on Usyk , he has since told Joyce to up his profile (which he has time to do) then fight him.Joshua won't go anywhere near Wilder or do you not remember, that too was something about 'commercial issues' ...maybe it was but don't come the mega fight with Wilder one , he's swerved already.
And a rematch with Whyte ....you seem very easily entertained.

The reason that Eddie , the sponsors, and all the complications (it seems) , is that at the moment Tyson Fury hammers them all ....and Joshua's deal don't look quite so hot.

He’s not going to get better. The chance to fight Fury at %40 is a great gift. Still nobody expects him to win or look good so having a bunch of rebuilding fights could earn his people more in the long run. He could still always get that Fury, or Wilder fight down the road anyway. That’s boxing.
Nobody is surprised it didn’t happen. There was a time a ton of people thought he’d smoke Wilder remember? Wilder fought Fury three times, and tough. AJ hasn’t fought either, lost to Ruiz, and the ex cruiser champ twice. AJ got paid the man for a while but turns out he never was? Am I wrong?
Anyone changed their opinion on Wilder vs AJ?
Tbf to you, yeah, on the basis that everyone has now seen that you’ll need a machine gun to stop Wilder in the ring, so AJ’s attacking Arsenal is a moot point.

On that ‘ex-cruiser champ’, I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: anyone who knows anything about boxing knew that Joshua should have been underdog going into the 1st fight, but ppl round here are still talking as if it was an upset.

Usyk is the best opponent that anyone in this current HW cohort will ever face, as I said about 3 years ago, and the only ppl who are still downplaying him are those who had never heard of him pre-Chisora.

        See,
Of course it's Kanyes fault, he took all they're (sponsors) money selling them a lie. He demanded commercial control & apparently A-side instead of signing the contract.
Promoter's... Eddie openly admitted he never wanted the fight.

As thing's stand the Kanye Eddie team will never be able to sign as a B-side they've sold out so much. They did a fantastic job carrying Kanye on the mismatchroom diet of shot past it old men & thankfully the division can flow again instead of stagnating on rematchroom clauses.

More importantly Fury Usyk in the spring, has Fury got the game plan to do it?

Most people saw right through Fury's BS. When it looked like things were going to get sorted he started with his deadline bollocks to get out of the fight.

            He never was,
Most of his belt resume is past it 38-41 year olds, mismatchroom did a brilliant job carrying him but stagnated the division with rematchroom clauses clinging onto the belts & we know why now he's been mis sold to all his sponsors.
He had 2 fighter's in Fury & Wilder to create his legacy & he's avoided both whilst they've gone on to have the greatest trilogy since Bowe Holyfield in the 90s.

I’m genuinely confused here. I thought Eddie hearn said it was Tyson fury and his camp who never wanted the fight? Now AJs father figure says it’s AJs sponsors. Interesting

We all knew that was the issue. When it looked like the issues would be resolved Fury pulled the rug. Fury never wanted the fight.

Confirmed that AJ and Hearn ducked Fury.

                  Sad!

Issues were never close to being resolved. Hearn was throwing up roadblock after roadblock before hiding behind the sponsors and commercial contracts.

Sponsors have never had the power to stop a fight from taking place. Queensbury can not prevent Joshua from turning up to a weigh in wearing Beats and Under Armor apparel.

                      Joshua will be just fine.

Even tho he lost three times he still puts asses in seats and his grandchildren' grandchildren will go to college.

Eddie's old Klitschko move was a brilliant passing of torch moment and now Josh is still living off that fame.

He won't become great, but so what, not everyone does.
