Wilder Ruiz, I'll watch it in the morning in the uk for free with a cuppa & a full english, prediction... Wilder breaks his right hand. Ruiz is off balance when he stands square but he's got Joyce level whiskers.
he hasnt beaten anyone yet wilder has? he beat an undefeated joshua. if joshua fights old men then what does wilder do? pretty sure joshua beat guys like whyte and parker in their primes as well as guys like klitschko, povetkin, etc...wilder has beaten...ortiz who was 40 and no one else. why not just give ruiz credit for doing way more than wilder. hes even beaten wilders best win. he's beaten joshua who wilder ducked, and he had a debatable decision loss against parker who was top 5. if wilder does beat him that just makes wilder look better and it will give him his first win over a legit top 5ish fighter in their prime.

Lol....Hearn is hilarious. He figured Helenius to beat Wilder too. It's his great Pipe Dream for somebody to beat Wilder, cuz Anthony Joshua is never going to be safe as long as Wilder's around!
Thats a 3rd round, one punch Knockout for The Bronze Bomber just waiting to happen. Most of us have gradually come to see it this way.

Eddie's player hating as usual. I guess since Fury defeated Wilder now everyone defeats him.

Wilder and Ruiz are my 2 favorite Heavyweights right now. I kind of hate to see this fight. Andy is tough as hell, maybe too tough for his own good. Wilder has knocked down everyone he has faced as a pro. He's knocked out everyone he's faced except Fury, ...and debatably KO'd him too. Andy throws beautiful quick combos in close, but he gets hit and Wilder is quick enough to hit anyone. I see Wilder by KO, but I see him by KO over everyone...including Fury...if Wilder comes in light, sub-220 lbs. I don't see this being good for Ruiz. He's tough enough to hang in there and get seriously hurt. That won't be good for him or Deontay because that would ruin both, IMO. For all the hype I believe Wilder is a compassionate person and seriously hurting someone would also seriously hurt him.

So you're picking Andy Ruiz then?

Wilder, unlike AJ fights tall, and rarely drops his head down. Ruiz had success against AJ because AJ leans forward and crouches, which is why AJ has always struggled against shorter fighters. Ruiz won't find Wilder an easy target. Ruiz will have to leap and lunge in to land a shot, which means Ruiz loses in dramatic and traumatic fashion reminiscent to the Szpilka knock out. The force and amplified weight and thrust plus Wilders knock out power, simple physics. Ruiz is tough, I wouldn't be surprised if he put up a good fight and lasted a few rounds - but it is difficult to ignore the physics. Also, Wilder has every advantage in this fight. As a matter of fact, if it were not for Ruiz' win against AJ, no one except people who hate Wilder would have any expectation other than a loss for Ruiz.

It's a great matchup, I can't imagine this fight being boring. 60-40 Wilder.

News break Deontay Wilder is fighting a one legged pirate with no hook

Hearn: The pirate in spite of his disadvantages will definitely beat Wilder.

Its ok if you think Wilder will win, or if Ruiz beats Wilder anything can happen at this level. If you think WIlder beats Ruiz and Ruiz were to spring a suprise and win, it wont actually be that suprising.
So anything can happen and yes i think Ruiz wins but if Wilder were to ko Ruiz, i wouldnt be shocked....well maybe a little suprised as Wilder only kos bums or 50 year olds.
