Spence vs GGG at 160. Three belts on the line and a GGG waiting to get pushed into retirement. Spence won’t be undisputed at 147. It’s too late now because the weight issue.

He might as well aim for 160 undisputed.

It pushes Jermall to 168. And he lets Jermell continue to eat up at 154. Everyone is satisfied.

Buds career will be one of the least impactful in recent history. He will be far less than Ward and that’s a fact. He has fought maybe one HOFer in Porter. People don’t remember potential, they remember the fights and the universal level of the guys you fought.

I’m relieved it’s not happening. Not paying for it now.

If a fighter wants a fight, he will make it happen. Crawford left his promoter and guarantees and rotted for 1 year messing with PBC. There is no argument, only common sense, minus fanboyish.

Spence probably been drinking and driving this whole time. He’s shocked because he just got sober and found out like the rest of us.

It's not that I think either Ortiz or Ennis wouldn't be good fights. Spence has 3 out of 4 titles and the guy with the last one doesn't want to fight. Nothing more do at 147 and I think the weight is a massive issue. Just go to 154.

this is actually a great result, crawford fans just continue on claiming hes a dog, atg, best of his gen no question & spence fans just go on saying hes a dog, warrior, best guy at his weighclass etc, so its a win win really

but is one of those the truth? or are we dealing with double duckers desperate to avoid each other?

To echo a bunch of comments on here, nobody knows what the true story is. One thing I feel is peculiar, though, is that YESTERDAY Spence came out saying "“(He’s) been stalling for months, I could’ve fought in November," and “Been fighting at this weight for over a decade, this **** ain’t easy or fun.”

That seems to me that Team Spence knew Crawford was going in another direction and this was an attempt to get out in front of it and make Crawford out to be the one at fault.

I don't know if Spence or Crawford is the primary person to blame. What I do know is that managers/promoters/networks are all shady.

I'm not playing this blame game garbage I think both fighters want this fight but they're not going to do it for chea nor should they, HOWEVER, what looks baad is that Bud walked away from the Table to announce this other fight so yes it does make him look bad, however he is not wrong at all for accepting an alleged 8 Figure Offer

he did tell Al that he is taking another fight this year so he says

Spence clearly had all his Chips on the table for this fight and did not setup a back up plan so now he has to scramble and try to fight Stanionis or Boots or Thurman December or January
