Which fans wanted to see Crawford fight Brook or Khan. Dude, come on! I know you are a boxing fan and a Crawford fan but boxing will long live after Crawford retires so without the usual rhetorics we see on social media, how can you justify a fight with Brook and Khan and then erroneously claim “fans wanted to see it”?
Khan and Brook were both irrelevant at 147. We are not even talking about guys that were rebuilding their careers. They were both shot.
Porter was a legit fight and Bud gets credit for beating Porter. I was rooting for Porter on the performance of his fight with Spence but Bud was clearly superior.
Top that with Benavidez and Kavaliauskas, Bud’s resume is terrible. Cotto and Mosley have better resumes than Bud yet I’d agree that Bud is a better boxer than both but history does not judge boxers on skills alone. Opponents matter and you know it.
I haven’t said anything about Spence or his resume because I’m not comparing the two. Just dissecting Bud’s weak resume.

Just agree 100% with Oregonian. 'Cotto and Mosley have better resumes than Bud yet I’d agree that Bud is a better boxer than both but history does not judge boxers on skills alone'. Cotto & Moseley are HOFs, without doubt IMO, but no-one will ever call them ATGs. Just on ability Bud could've been an ATG but now he never will be. ATGs like SRL, Pacquaio, Duran, Hagler, BHop, Pernell & Mayweather take chances & fight the best, Bud has torn up the ticket to that exclusive club.Comment

You have your opinion and I have mine
Which Fans complained they didn't want to watch these Crawford fights?
As far memory serves me No one complained on this site when Crawford signed to face both Brook and Khan and those fights weren't boring either
My original post was to find out what was Errol Spence biggest win that's it
You might have a personal beef with Crawford after all aren't you the same guy that argued that Crawford never fought in Vegas only in his hometown

So disappointing but hardly surprising hopefully once Crawford disposes of this dude they get back to some real talk. This is just boxing in the modern era it's more business than anything else. Shame.Comment

What good has it ever done to complain? What do you think we're gonna do, stand outside the stadium with placards? Stick our hands to the doors & 'invade the space'? Everybody has work &, sh"", if I was going to take violent action it would be about something political, not be about a bad match.
They were bad matches. Brook was past his best & struggling to make 147. Khan was also past his best & better at 140. No, they weren't boring, WTF has that got to do with anything? As I recall, Pipino Cuevas was never in a dull fight. Does that make him a great W/W?
In the 1940s the M/W division was gifted with 4 of the greatest fighters ever, Tony Zale, Jake LaMotta, SRR & Charley Burley & many knowledgeable observers thought Burley was best of the lot. Shamefully, because of his colour, Burley was denied a chance to fight the other 3 men. Now, suppose Burley had EXACTLY the same record & everything BUT he had been given chances to fight Zale, LaMotta & SRR & had repeatedly turned them down. How do you think history would judge Burley then?
