Seems his team is closing all doors outside of the PBC/Showtime site. Hearn would be happy to give him a one fight deal if he would just ask. Blair Cobbs would be an intriguing matchup, for example.

I'll take Jaron Ennis v Rashidi Ellis - see who really has it

PBC recently signed Ellis and he's like a veteran prospect who still is pretty fresh, still undefeated.

Ellis was a guy who I thought for sure Vergil would fight while they were both at GBP, I think he would need that type of opponent at some point. Ellis' career has never taken off but he still could have life.

My guess is that Boots fights Spence, if the Crawford deal isn’t done very soon.

Drawing a blank but were there any PBC/Showtime fighters that had more than 1 fight this year?
Not that I know of. Even Jermell Charlo who used to fight 2x / year only fought once this year.

Fighters who fought once this year:

Adames, Jermall (zero fight), Derevyanchenko, Leo Santa Cruz, Tim Tszyu, David Benavidez, etc.

At welter: Ennis, Stanionis, Butaev, Cody Crowley, Josesito Lopez, Crawford, Spence, Thurman, Barrios, Tank Davis (135)

          It's a very inactive year.

Boots destroys Cobbs. If he went to DAZN the only interesting matchup would be Vergil Ortiz IMO.

I’d be down for that fight.

Butaev, Stanionis, Barrios, Crowley. Whether you call these fights legit or not for Ennis, they're better than taking a long layoff with zero reason to. Especially when his last fight didn't even incur him any scratches or injuries. You can't help but wonder what kind of sport this is.

Another unproven American fighter getting insane hype without testing himself against the best

He doesn't even have to fight them. He kills them all according to his gullible fans. He'll destroy Cobbs, fight doesn't have to happen. What a ****** sport.

Ennis should be fighting Avanesyan who is his approximate level.
