As long as Fury fights Usyk next year I'm happy.
Did you say Chisora should retire if he’s fighting Wilder ?

AJ accepted via Twitter, anyone can do that. His team and DAZN blocked it citing commercial contractual things not allowing it to happen etc etc
Yeah, I think it can be a bit of a gray area with him being active "recently" so I'll give you that one. But he should be able to get a better opponent than Chisora. He doesn't need a tune up.

AJ accepted the challenge and Fury kept putting public deadlines that were detrimental to the fight taking place. Obviously I don't know what happened behind closed doors or the details of the negotiations, but that just reeked of a publicity stunt from Fury and not having honest intentions of fighting AJ in December.

        No?

I'm a Chisora fan so I wouldn't want to see him in against Wilder because he would probably end up seriously hurt.

Rematch Wallin if a tune up for Usyk is what this is about. At least the Wallin fight was mostly competitive and besides that, Wallin and Usyk are both lefties.

My concern is that this is not a stay busy fight.

Fury is a special guy, he probably feels he is a heavyweight Mayweather now. Meaning, he fights who he wants, even washed up guys or UFC guys.

Chisora is a washed up gatekeeper, but he is a name in Uk and he sells.

What if Usyk retires or moves down again?

I don`t expect Fury fighting usual hw contenders that don`t sell.

Is it just a coincidence that problems only really turn up when Fury is backed into a corner?

The only risks he's ever taken willingly were when he had to. He fought Wlad for his belt. He fought Wilder for his belt.

Once he had a belt he had injuries, mental health and drug issues for the Wlad rematch. He had COVID and Lord knows what else to try to get out of the Wilder contacted rematch. He petitioned the WBC to change the split for the Whyte mandatory.

Yet fights against the likes of Schwarz, Wallin, Chisora go through with ease. He'll turn up injury free and do a job.

It's no coincidence. It's Fury. I just keep wondering when the last of his minions will see through him.

I would have thought fighting Chisora might be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Also, Fury has the best resume in HW if we consider W/L rate and Chisora has the best overall resume in HW. So, that's clash of best resumes in the division.

Chisora the guy you make fun of gave to middleweight his one of the toughest fights. No one can criticize Fury.
If you have to ask, then you already know.

I honestly would have preferred Charr over this. At least its a fighter i've never seen in the ring with Fury.

Why does this need to be discussed? Only good thing is Del Boy is getting paid. Aside from that this fight is horrible.
