To be honest, Ruiz can be able to handle Wilder

Ruiz has a win over Joshua, that is better than any Wilder`s win.

Ruiz looked like a crap against Arreola and Ortiz. That is true. But Fury also looked like a crap against Pianeta and Seferi and that is exactly why Wilder fought him.

Many fighters fight at the level of their opponents. Bivol, Fury. Maybe is Ruiz also that kind of fighter.

Ruiz`s hand speed will be the problem for Wilder.

I don't know why people rated AJ so highly in the first place i've never understood it, he has never looked GREAT or worthy of number 1 spot i always ask this question not even as a hater just genuine. Who has AJ beaten in their prime? i can legit only think of Whyte/Parker who were never that great anyway. Beating 40 + year old "names/ghosts/shadows" doesn't entitle you to number 1 in the division.

Because he stepped up to Wlad and was consistently fighting top 10 opponents while Fury was pretending to be retired and Wilder was a decade strong still crushing cans in Alabama.

I agree hes never looked all that indestructible but on resume at least it was pretty hard to have anyone else in the no1 spot from the time he beat Wlad to the time Fury got screwed by the judges in Wilder 1.

The only people who make out wilder is second coming of Mike Tyson are easily intimidated and imagine themselves taking wilder punch and projecting it on others.
people say wilder not fought and beat anyone of note so why do their imagination get better of them and predict wilder ko s anything that gets in his way I don't get it? And their justification is that wilder was able to down iron jawed fury, like somehow fury is the second coming of chuvalo, lamotta, toney, combined?
        ruiz beats wilder

The argument is basically Ruiz beat AJ and he has fast hands... I could get into the point of fighters fighting down to their competition, but then that discredits your point about Ruiz beating AJ...

AJ is a tremendous heavyweight and 100% elite in this era. However, he's not the heavyweight benchmark. Ruiz beat AJ once, and that was a great win but it says nothing about his ability to handle Wilder. Ruiz has fast hands but slow feet, short reach and average reflexes. Wilder can probably outbox him like AJ did in the rematch (see Stevern first fight) but he will probably KO him if they ever fight. Wilder would very likely KO AJ too.

            No chance

It’ll be more one-sided than Ruiz vs a burrito

Yeah, Wilder has many imaginary wins. In theory he knocks out nearly everybody. What a shame, his best win is old Ortiz.

He also has quite the sturdy chin

Have you ever seen Ruiz hurt? me neither

he got dropped HARD by Joshua in the first fight, he got back up quickly and was immediately firing bombs back, as if nothing happened, to the point it was AJ who ended up with his ass on the canvas instead

Ruiz has a very good chin and his recuperative abilities are probably on pair with Fury's

he might be one of the few guys who can actually take Wilder's power and fight back with counters and combos

If Ruiz brings his A game, Wilder might be in trouble

Wilder generally loses all fantasy matchups on here rather than people saying he's the second coming of anything.
Some people do talk about his crushing power, but more than likely, people seem to think he loses to anybody with boxing skills.

OP thinks he doesn't beat anyone. LOL.

We've all seen Ruiz hurt! But you're right that he does have a solid set of whiskers on him. He can fight Wilder back, but he doesn't have the length Fury has to get to Wilder so frequently.

Anything can happen in the ring, but gun to your head, who would you pick?
