Why do you tell lies. DW passed the Vada tests and the adverse findings was the UK. And he was able to rule out intentional doping because of the VADA tests.

Does that include bbbc? Surely they would be considered a "relevant party" ? If so then bbbc have obviously got some explaining to do as to why they never acted until things went public.

Is Matchroom trying to excuse Benn's test failure by blaming bbbc for not clarifying that a contractual test fail doesn't really count as a test fail?

Correct. They also considered their own testing which he passed and the fact that the VADA testing was done in a WAD accredited lab.

I'd assume Benn's testing would have been in an accredited lab also. If it wasn't, then this is over before it ever gets near a tribunal.

Generally it's a bit churlish of Smith here. He's right that BBBofC don't recognise UKAD. He's right because they delegate all anti doping compliance to UKAD, who don't recognise VADA as they are not WAD accredited. But it was cancelled in the interests of the sport - everyone understands that (now). BBBofC don't need to clarify that; it's common sense rather than rules.

This why why boxing needs a world governing body, how can you disregard a failed drug test on a technicality. Surely all the drug testing agencies need to be aligned in the boxing legislation. You can’t rely on boxing organisations, promoters and networks to investigate themselves without corruption, none of them care about boxers cheating as it’s all about making money and protecting their investments. It will literally take a fighter dying in the ring, at the hands of a cheat to change this. BBBoC seem to have ignored and tried to sweep the failed test under the carpet, but the Daily Fail exposed this it appears. Who’s going to investigate that and why were they ignoring it allowing the fight to go on. Look at Fury and Canelo’s career to see it was worth the cheating, no one mentions it in the mainstream boxing press and the fighters don’t get asked about it in interviews.

To be fair there is a world governing body for anti doping. It's WADA and UKAD are aligned to them. The Board is your.

                VADA aren't accredited to them.

they need to get rid of the contaminated supplement excuse, these cheaters are very careful to try to get the peds in and out of their bodies ASAP, there is only a very small window to catch a lot of them, its nearly always trace amounts too, they all know exactly a certain dose of a certain substance will linger, but im sure its not an exact science as well and things go wrong at times & maybe some tests are just better at picking things up too, not sure if all tests and labs are the exact same, i tend to doubt it

Yes, "trace amounts" probably equates to getting tested when finished the cycle.

if u stick some med in your body, your body will start to process it and get rid of it, there is always going to be trace amounts as time goes by to total elimination from the body, so saying its only trace amounts it basically meaningless as far as i can see

its up to athletes to source safe supplements if they use them & be sensible, for example, nelo, ate beef in an area where he knew was contaminated with a banned substance, thats dumb & so we have to assume nelo and his team are dumb and not pro at what they do or they cheated
