Wow, the brass necks on Matchroom... Absolutely disgraceful. They can try and spin this all they want but there’s no way of hiding it. Their fighter failed a test, they tried to cover it up, they then tried to force the fight to go ahead and let the prospect of financial gain supersede the safety of a fighter. Truly disgusting behaviour.

Maybe it’s desperation because his cash cow AJ is done and things haven’t been going to well. It has to be desperation because the old videos of him talking about this very topic shows that he knows what’s morally right and wrong, unless he’s just become so consumed by greed and his own ego that it almost become an illness.

Hard to tell, It’s just odd for a man that seems to be so conscious of his own image and how people perceive him that he is really unable to step back from the situation and even put an act that he wants to do the right thing

Completely agree. Desperate people do desperate things. They needed this Eubank-Benn fight to help salvage a disastrous year and were prepared to neglect the safety of a fighter.
