I mean that's what we think, but Wilder has never fought any of the top guys who wasn't almost 40 years old. The only reason he fought Fury in the first place because he was a big name and low risk (been fat on drugs, retired...)

I will get behind Wilder when he starts fighting the top guys. I mean the things he did to avoid DiIllian Whyte were just embarrassing. Whyte is easy to hit but Whyte was top-10, maybe top-5 at the time.

Wilder does have great power - but what happened against Helenius doesn't happen every fight. We can watch some Wilder fights where the opponent gets hit a lot and doesn't get hurt. I think people get over excited either way when a guy wins or loses

Wilder stops Ruiz inside 6 rounds. Especially since Ruiz no longer comes in in shape

With Canelo being out until September 2023 PBC should make Wilder vs Ruiz for May Cinco De Mayo in Las Vegas or LA

They'll talk about this fight for a year or two but then it'll never happen. Thats the heavyweight division today.

That's what they said about Ruiz when he fought A.J, would I favor Wilder to win, most likely, but there is a way to beat Wilder and it's up to Ruiz to institute the game plan. IMO what Ruiz has to do is stay on the inside and fight on the inside, just lean into Wilder all night because Wilder does not know how to fight on the inside, he needs Range. So if I was Andy's trainer I would just say keep your head low, get inside and go to the body and go to work, he does that, he wins, if he decides to stay on the outside, he gets K.OD. it's really that simple in my opinion, and by the way, another reason I think Andy might be in it, is his height. It's harder for a taller guy to fight a shorter guy because you have to punch down. On the other hand, the shorter guy punches up giving him more of an opportunity to land, especially on Wilder who constantly leaves his head and chin up.

Wilder at 215-220 is quick and fights at arm's length. Continues to amaze me people think Wilder is going to give up his height and reach Ruiz as AJ did in the 1st fight. Ruiz is too fat and thick in the waist to get under punches. You thought AJ and Arreola peppered him with their right hands. As I said I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder brokes his hand again when he knocks out Ruiz.

Thats a bit dramatic. Ruiz might be a lazy fat bastard but he has a chin on him. If anyone was likely to get seriously hurt by Wilder it was old man Ortiz fighting him twice.

Ofc, he’s probably right, but the point stands.
You think Wilder probably beats Ruiz? I thought Ruiz would win as i think he has a better chin that duhapas. And Ortiz having been in ring with both, concluding Wilder wins is interesting. So im back and forth who i think will prevail. I guess come nearer fight i will make final prediction.
