The reason for the white guilt is of course due to terrible things during slavery in America’s wicked past. Most folks should not harbor any guilt today for what happened a few generations ago. I sure the heck don’t. So I guess it’s still a green light for black boys referring to Caucasian men as “white boys”. It’s the same as if Caucasian’s referred to black folks as “n****s. Then answer this question for me boss. How many prime names are there on Danny Garcia's resume? It's a known fact, that his resume is largely comprised of mostly journeyman and gatekeepers who were well past their primes when he defeated them. It's never personal. It's only boxing. I give him full credit for defeating a prime Amir Khan and Lucas Matthysse.

None of the brothers or black fighters at the PBC have made the kind of money that Caleb Plant has and that includes: Both Errol Spence, Jr and Terence Crawford. All things being equal, what you say would make sense. However, the past helped shape the world we currently occupy. Calling a Black man "boy" has historical context and precedent and it's demeaning and offensive. White boy has no historical context nor equivalent to the other and can't be deemed as such. You're speaking idealistically and from a place of privilege because you were on the other side of the dynamic.

I would say what I always say, facts and history is not about opinions and feelings, it's about truth and reconciliation. However, people avoid the truth for the sake of comfort and we never get to the place of reconciliation through confrontation of past atrocities with current day ramifications. Be well.
