Devin Haney vs Josh Taylor, who would win? (Hypothetical)

This would have been the battle of the Undisputed champions until Taylor dropped his belts after his controversial win against Jack Catterall, however that doesn't erase the fact that during his short career he has beaten notable names at 140 such as Viktor Postol, Regis Prograis and Jose Carlos Ramirez.

In the other hand Devin Haney has defeated Jorge Linares, Joseph Diaz Jr and George Kambosos 2X. All good wins, but his time at the lightweight is limited and he will eventually have to move up in the coming years.

Once Haney has adjusted to the division how do people see this fight playing out? Considering this fight is possible to make due to the same promotion.

Haney is too technically sound for Taylor.

Taylor f***’s him up. I don’t see these guys being at 140 at the same time though.

Haney wins by UD. Josh Taylor is too slow to outbox Haney and won't be willing to apply pressure. I mean jesus Catteral outboxed him with his tiny ass reach.

Taylor didn't look good in his last fight. I also thought that he should have lost to prograis. He gets hit a lot. Haney will outbox him easily.

Not sure thier time-lines at 140 line up but that's a toss up imo, leaning towardsTaylor though. Josh is just as skilled, bigger and has that dog in him to make it interesting. The Catterall fight was more of an aberration than what Taylor has displayed in the past but it's what took place and can be seen as a chick in that armor. Don't see it happening but if it were,I'd probably pick Taylor to win by decision as he's shown the grit that has propelled him to victory time and time again.
