Wilder and manager didn't even want the third fight.
They were ready to see it disappear, and were surprised why it presented itself again.
Deontay didn't even participate fully in the promotion. He couldn't speak.

So where is this 'Wilder wants it again' coming from?

Let’s all pretend like Wilder really is still getting faster, stronger, and better on the wrong side of 35!

Let’s all pretend those two beatings that likely left permanent — if not yet visible — damages, never even happened!

Let’s all pretend that it wasn’t the already questionable — and previously cracked — jaw of Helenius he just smashed!

Either the OP is giving us a joke, or having a little fun trolling us. I don’t think even Wilder believes that. He knows his days in boxing are winding down, and he wants a few more good fights and paydays for his legacy and bank acct.

The way some people are talking, one would think Wilder is only 23 and about to embark on his career-defining run.

Yes, and wilder did best in 1st fight than 2nd or 3rd

There is a notion that Tyson Fury is the only fighter who can take Wilder's power.

But what do they actually mean by this? Because Fury is still getting hurt and suffering damage.

On the real, Wilder basically knocked out Fury in the 1st fight. Fury got up from a knock out blow, it was good refereeing which kept him in that fight.

Rightly so, he was given every single chance to show he wanted to fight.

And in their 3rd fight, Fury was again decked multiple times.

Due to Fury's current style of fighting, he has to fight Wilder the hard way. He has to go straight at him, and close the distance.

Maybe Fury is the only fighter in the division who can beat Wilder in this fashion. But make no doubt about it? It is a highly dangerous tactic, effective but dangerous.

If they fight for the 4th time, Fury is most likely going to have to come through some heavy trauma again.

Tyson Fury is a big time performer. But I am not so sure that he would voluntary want to face Wilder again.

We don’t even know if Wilder has much left, his punch resistance might be completely done.

its hard to find out in a one round fight against his sparring partner that got stopped by Gerald Washington 3 fights earlier

One thing is for sure is that he has had 3 cracks at Fury and got beaten up badly in 2 of them, the last one being a sustained beating and brutal knockout.

He can’t beat Fury except for a punchers chance but that applies to pretty much any heavyweight anyway. Plus, he’s had his punchers chance but Fury gets back up and keeps beating him up even Wilder doesn’t want it anymore.

I'm not into rematches, let alone fourth, fifth fight, etc. Even if the guy I rooted for lost the fight. Most important is the fight was made at all, especially in this abysmal situation of the sport where big fights take years to be made. I don't have 9 lives to live and I'd prefer to see fighters fight all kinds of styles. Why see the same fight when I already saw it? It's so silly to me even if the fight was close. Who cares?
