This has got to be someone’s alt on a mission with relative anonymity. Who you reckon it is?

Been non-stop on Baumgardner and Shields if you see all the comments last 24hrs. Acting like they turned him/her down for a mortgage.

This is definitely someone who the world can't wait to do without.

Was a lackluster performance on both ends, especially with all the talk and fight build up. I had it a draw and a rematch definitely needs to happen, but I wouldn't mind if Baumgardner fought Choi first.

There's a sense of entitlement whenever I hear Mayer speak. She's one of the big names and more recognizable faces in women's boxing but her looks, the Olympics and ESPN's promotion are what got her to where she's at. She could have easily lost a decision to Hamadouche and in this fight she allowed Baumgardner to win early rounds and steal a few late.

It was a razor close fight and she didn't get the nod, it happens. She just doesn't think it should have ever happened to her.

Mayer also probably assumed that Baumgardner (a Matchroom fighter) wouldn't get the nod in a close fight.

I thought Mayer edged it and dictated the pace, but it was close. A draw was very possible.....didn't really like that Baumgardner wont rematch-that's cowardly.

The only reason you call them thugs is because you don't like how self-assured and confident they are.
You don't like how proud of themselves they are.
You would prefer they be overly humble and meek.
Why?
Because they're black and also women?
The reality is that boxing is not a humble sport.
And teams matter,
but no other sport is as lonely and solitary as this one.
So all those who participate and achieve should be celebrated
and not demonized.
These are proud, strong, black female athletes,
not thugs.
And they make the sport of boxing better for their existence.
