Why are so many people arguing about this fight? The judges and the unofficial judges all had similar scores. Savannah Marshall said in one of her post fight interviews that although she came on strong during the 2nd half of the fight, the right woman won and that's why she is the GWOAT. They both were complimentary of each other and Savannah admitted that Clarissa has power. Clarissa said that Savannah can punch and hit her so hard that she couldn't see out of her right eye in round 6 and partially in round 7. Every forum I went to and YouTube video comment section, everyone, including Brits are congratulating Clarissa, yet people here don't want to give her, her due respect. She even admitted that all the things she said about Savannah, she didn't mean, as she was just trying to get a mental edge on her before the fight..... Cong**** to both ladies for a helleva fight and selling out the 02 arena. On a day where there was fights on all day, this fight was the most intriguing match and it went beyond expectations.

Shields fought a good fight against Marshall. I would argue to say a classic fight. She ran when she needed to, she boxed well and stayed in the pocket at times. Her strategy that was effective was that Shields did a great job of smothering Marshall's punches by staying close to her. Marshall bobs and weaves when she doesn't need to which expends lots of energy. Marshall did good when she was able to trap Shields into a corner but there wasn't enough of that because Shields didn't stay there long. I had Shields winning the fight by seven rounds to three. They certainly were fighting better than men yesterday. After the fight both ladies were very classy.

I would like to see a rematch though.
