Had Alycia winning 96-94, as I recall I had her winning 1-3, 7,8 and 10. Landed the cleaner, harder shots. I used to root for Mayer but she seems a bit arrogant these days; thought she acted in poor taste. Didn't get the booing for Baumgardner.

As a side note, Alycia is something pretty...loved the fight outfit.

12 three minute rounds for championship fights should be standard. There isn't enough time with 2 minute rounds to get work done.

In a now-racialized world, even judges are afraid to go against "people of color." They know what can happen to them. They gave the decision to a really insufferable person--too bad for boxing.

They got it right. Except one judge and the analysts. And to hear the racists boo...... that's Britain for you.

I am American. The greatest country ever of course! BUT....I don't think the Brits were booing because they are racist. I am pretty sure they would cheer a Brit of color (or colour) over a white American. I think They booed Alycia because she is mostly unknown, she beat the dog sh^t out of British Terri Harper, and they are more familiar with Mayer ( who definitely lost). I don't think it was racism.

The sky commentary made is seem like Mayer won comfortably

The sky commentary is in line with Top Rank, Mayers promotion but the judges got it right. The gave it to the fighter who landed the cleaner more effective punches.

Wow! Yes! That was an entertaining fight. Mayer did really well. Great win for Baumgardner and congratulations on winning the titles!
