Mayer won that IMO. Baumgardner started promisingly but then spent too many rounds waiting instead of working. Mayer's jab was very effective once she got it going.

Two-minute rounds are too short and often times difficult to score in a competitive fight because there's so little to choose from. One eye-catching sequence can make all the difference.

Baumgardner won, it wasn't easy, but she had the cleaner shots and better combinations. Mayer looked stiff, but had a good, long jab.

A very close fight, but I thought Alycia won, by virtue of landing more power punches.

She was outlanded in the jabs department no doubt, but I think the power punches advantage outweighs jabs by a fair bit.
