As for Ricky, Ricky made his bones at jr.welterweight and had problems with Collazo on his first trip up to the division, second Ricky had issues with Juan Urango as well.

Again who within the Welterweight division, unless I'm mistake Mayweather is a Welterweight right? Who has he fought? Yes he was great in the lower weight divisions(we praise him for that) however, the man now campaigns as a welterweight.

Mosley jumping in the ring expressed a frustration real fight fans feel, enough with these catch-weight, gimmick/exhibition bouts. We want to see Mayweather fight as a welterweight against other welterweights, it is isn't rocket science.
Well clearly there is no fighter you arent going to pick apart after Floyd beats. Just keep hating the dude I guess bro. Good luck.

Now that i agree with, he does get credit for fighting cotto, unfortunately, i predict that will be his downfall, and the p4p picture will be a lot clearer then.

        3. He has yet to take on all comers , he is scared to lose his 0

        5. and etc........... and etc............. its becoming a circus and except for Jr. vs Mosley or Jr vs Pac , I have watched him for the last time. If I want to watch a fake set up I will watch the WWE or whatever it is.

Mayweather weighed 146 pounds?!? So much for a catchweight of 144...

Again, you completely miss the boat because you are trying so hard to give Floyd every ounce of credit that you can, and you argue everyone else away as "haters", simply because they don't reflect your same viewpoints.

I think deep down you know he hasn't fought a legitimate welterweight so you dance around the question and yet label everyone else as haters. That doesn't end/stop the debate, the point still stands....WHO HAS FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. FOUGHT AT WELTERWEIGHT THAT WAS/IS A VIABLE THREAT SINCE HE STARTED CAMPAIGNING AT THAT WEIGHT CLASS? WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THOSE WHO ACTUALLY FOUGHT IN THE DIVISION.

You can choose to call me hater simply because I pose a question that you'd prefer to dance around, rather than directly answering, it's very simple, he hasn't fought anyone of substance. I'd even give him credit if he fought Clottey,Margarito...anyone in the division at this point.

FYI --criticism and hating are two completely different things.

                LOL, this guys a comedian.

                2 inches and 4 pounds?

How bout 2 inches, 4 years, and about a 40 pound swing?

JMM's ideal weight is 26' or 30'. Floyds is 47'-54 and Floyd came in at least 155 or more.

Hey Lyle, tell me how well you think Floyd does against Chad Dawson or Bernard Hopkins.

Prime JMM at his normal weight can beat Floyd.

                  2) Mosely (a real HOF welterweight)
                  3) P.Will (an alien capable of shifting shape and weight with tentacles)

Beat two of those mentioned and we'll call him the greatest thing since sliced bread.

**** you know why Shane Mosley is loved? You think he said to himself before fighting Winky and Vernon, hey this might be a bad business decision? The risk versus reward isn't enough for me to take the chance so I'm not going to do it?

No--but he earned people's respect by fighting two guys that were all wrong for him and were far more risk than reward. Even in losing he showed the balls and courage and the will to win. Win or lose, he showed that he wanted to test himself against the best. Everyone thought he'd get demolished by Margarito and the opposite happened. The man earned his stripes where it mattered. He thought like a real world class athlete should, not as a promoter/wanna be business man who looks for the bouts with the least resistance but highest economic reward.
I dont jock nobody but I give credit where credit is due. Shane is a helluva boxer and the most relevant fight (w/out considering the best financial route) at welterweight is w/out a doubt he & mayweather. However, everybody saying he'd maul floyd is either an idiot or just hating. Like I said..love him or hate him jr's the purest boxer this sport has seen in years & more importantly he has the work ethic & boxing IQ to back up all the physical gifts. Margarito was tailor-made for an astute boxer puncher b/c he's one dimensional (albeit very good at what he does but he's easy to prepare for & who knows if his gloves were loaded in prev fights). Let's not even incl mayorga cause he's been ko'd by every elite fighter he's faced post vernon forest and again he's one dimensional. Vargas though still quite young was washed up as a boxer in his 2 fights w/ mosely. The one fight that stands out is mosely vs cotto b/c mosely allowed cotto to actually outbox him in rds where it counted and that surprised me. Now ANYbody who thinks cotto is a better BOXER (not ****er or puncher) than mayweather just needs stick their head in a hole filled w/ fire ants. It would be competitive but I just see floyd doing what he always does in fig. out his opponent, making the proper in fight adj's & making his opponents pay. Mosely has prob's w/ fighters who have very good jabs (i.e. winky wright & vernon forest). The same can be said for his bouts w/ oscar (when de la hoya decided to throw it freq). Cotto was able to out jab & box him in those later rds so based on FACTS not personal opinion..why do you folks think he'll whoop floyd??
