JMM at WW was a farce. Mr boat buyer showed he ain't lost nothin, and he got the capacity to beat SSM and the Pac-Cotto winner. That'd get him the top spot back. But the fight was a tuneup that proved jack ****. It was a gr8 performance, but not a gr8 victory.

Without dipping my toe into the message boards and other fan forums since the final bell of his fight with Juan Manuel Marquez Saturday night/Sunday morning, I can pretty much assume that as a prevailing sentiment.

But you know what?

He's a real-life Satan incarnate who can, ahem... fight like hell.

In pitching an absolute, complete and comprehensive shutout of Marquez – the critics' pre-comeback choice as the world's No. 2 fighter – in his first ring action since 2007, the Pretty Boy now known as "Money" has answered one question with dominant certainty.

He, and not Manny Pacquiao or any other 21-month stand-in, is the world's best fighter.

Don't believe it?

Watch the tape. Or re-watch it, as the case may be.

And over the course of 36 minutes, find me one thing that says otherwise.

One flaw. One error.

The fact everyone loves to hate floyd only makes him that much more greater. Why is it no one is criticizing cotto for fightjng pac-man? Why is it floyd cant get the respect he deserves for toying with the man who handed pac-ma. His ass twice? Its ok to dislike floyd as the person he portrays himself to be... But not cool to dislike him because of what he does in the ring. He has done his ladder climbing and beat the best and toughest. Why cant he pick and choose the fights he wants? He fought marquez to set up a big money fight with pac-man. Marquez is bigger than pac... So why is no one discrediting cotto for his fight in nov? Atleast marquez moved up in weight and fought legit fighters and a reak champion who was never knocked out in casamayor and a tough and great fighter in juan diaz. He didnt take the easy road and fight a pathetic dacid diaz or a drained shell of de la hoya... And even a shell shocked hatton. He fought two tough fights to get a big money fight with the best. Mayweather trid tk foght the best back when he was coming up but everyone refused so why cant he pick and choose and take only the fights that make business sense?

One thing that everybody is forgetting is that the Pac-man is not the same fighter that fought Marquez last time. The Pac-Man has improved dramatically since then. I'm pretty sure that the present version of pac-man would have destroy and K.O. Marquez, something that Floyd fail to do. That's what so amazing about the Pac-Man, he seems to be improving with every fight! Don't get me wrong Floyd had a brilliant performance. But any reasonable boxing fan would agreed that Pacquiao is much better now, then when he last fought Marquez.
