What is the debate? That Floyd beat a smaller fighter in JMM?

Okay, Yes those four pounds really did a number on JMM

You thinking I'm mad is the laughable part. Now answer the question I posed to you....c'mon you're such a brilliant guy, we want to share in this brilliance with you? My guess is you won't take me up on anything resembling reasonable, because again...you're incapable.

The point was he fought him above his weight and you guys refuse to give him credit for it, but will only discredit him for fighting 1 smaller guy. You say he fights smaller guys all the time its bull****.

Maybe Hatton was a little smaller too, maybe not, but regardless that was a legit fight. Sure JMM was smaller but you act like hes been fighting smaller guys in every fight, this is absolutely false.

Like I want to ****ing sit here and go off defending Mayweather against you guys. I dont give a ****. Im just telling the truth and its ****ing ******ed how far you will go to discredit the guy.

Any REAL boxin fans'll blame duckweather who obviously doesn't want to fight the best but only make cash and protect his 0,his own money maker.

Mayweather has to fight Mosley,Mosley lost twice to Winky since, but so would have Floyd if he'd balls to fight a guy like Winky caliber.

You are on Floyd ****,your afro super hero and his fake O.

You should be homeless if that is how you really felt about the weight issue Lyle. How much did Floyd weigh on fight night? How much did JMM come up from his NATURAL WEIGHT? People have different frames and carry weight differently. Mayweather was probably at least 15 lbs heavier then Juan on fight night. Juan had moved up two divisions meaning he was fighting a guy around 30 pounds above his best weight. He looked like he was fighting under water against Diaz and then he added more weight. Diaz punches like a chick and still rocked Marquez AT THAT WEIGHT. Then he moved up. Now go be homeless.

lolz. Stop calling Floyd the best fighter in the world cause he ain't. Until he beats Mosley and Cotto then he is the best fighter. But as long as he keeps on ducking them and fights smaller fighters than him then he won't be the best fighter in this era..

This dude can't be serious with the above statement. Now all of a sudden marquez is past his prime?? All of a sudden the previous no. 2 lb-for-lb fighter (on most pundits' lists) is washed up & past his prime. The same marquez who just ko'd juan diaz & joel casamayor (who had both never been stopped). The same marquez who gave pac all he could handle over the span of two wgt classes & would quite easily do the same if they were to meet rt now. You gotta be kidding me. I think it's ridiculous how people's personal perceptions of athletes mar the obvious. Say what you want about Mayweather but he's simply the best pure boxer the sport has seen over the past decade. I dont want to hear about the wgt diff's. Nobody forced marquez to take the payday & jump two wgt classes. Mayweather took the no. 2..or 3rd best fighter in the sport & boxed his ears off & I don't see where manny is going to do any better if they meet next year. As impressive as manny's recent victories over cash cows de la hoya & hatton, we've all seen floyd accomplish the same feats to an even greater extent in my opinion b/c he fought oscar at his natural wgt not a depleted 147 lbs. If I recall correctly he handled the golden boy weighing in at 146..147 while oscar had to have been close the middleweight limit by fight night (so dont beat me in the head with rhetoric of size differences). As for hatton, manny's early ko was impressive but mayweather slowly broke him down & punished him over the course of 10rds (you cant tell me that fight didnt take something out of his tank). If pacquiao defeats cotto come nov., we'll more than likely see him & mayweather clash next yr. It's the fight most heads want to see as well as the fight that will generate the most income for either man so all ?s will finally be ans'd at that time but I personally dont think manny can whoop floyd..simple as that.

As for mosely, I'm sure he'll get his opp eventually but you haters forget floyd called dude out around the time he beat vargas & shane was talking that "I gotta get my chipped tooth fixed and spend some time w/ my family" bs. The mofo said it in a post fight interview on national tv so nobody can deny it. Everybody talkin' bout this fighter is duckin' that fighter when in actuality those dudes are ALL looking for the biggest $$ fights possible. Why else would pac fight De la hoya or floyd for that matter b/c it came w/ a guaranteed 8 fig payout. You talking about people ducking when I've read interviews where shane mosely said he wanted no pts of say a paul williams..why?? b/c the risk far outweighs the reward so dont act as if mayweather is the only person looking to cash in. Why do you think pac choose cotto as an opponent instead of shane while mosely was bascially acting like a groupie on some "fight me..fight me" -ish??..b/c cotto has a larger following (i.e. bigger paycheck & ppv sales) and is prob an easier mark. He barely beat mosely, took a beating from margarito, and didnt look that great against clottey. He's an easier mark compared to shane who basically just beat the hell out of margarito's loaded glove having azz. Ya'll need to stop hating b/c there's a lot of top fighters hand picking opponents based on finances.
