Anyone give Helenius a chance on Saturday?

    Anyone picking Helenius?

Gonna play Devils advocate here… Wilder is now nearly 37, he took a beating in the last two Fury fights, they clearly affected his mental state too. Could the timing be right for an upset?

I can’t see it personally, but I do think Wilder may not be the same fighter he was prior to the Fury losses. Even a lesser version of Wilder should still have more than enough to KO Helenius though.

Ahhhhh…NO! Unless Wilder gets struck by lightning during his ring walk.

the only chance he has, is if he just empties the tank in round 1 and try and Land something huge first, because the longer it goes the more chance wilder lands the right and helenius aient getting up..

I'm giving Helenius a slight chance (not enough to bet on him, though) just because we have no idea how well Wilder can take a punch at this point. Wilder sparked Ortiz twice and now King Kong goes down from jabs. How well has the Bronze Bomber recovered from a nasty KO? If Helenius sticks that big jab in Wilder's face and it hurts him, Deontay will be in for a rough night. If, on the other hand, Wilder feels it and isn't too bothered, it'll be night, night for the Nordic Nightmare.

I am calling a close fight or upset. Helenius looks like his best self of late and has been fighting often. Wilder been inactive and took a career ending beating his last fight.

surprised team wilder didn't take a softer touch.

Helenius is not a bad fighter and if he is prepared for the right hand he will make things interesting.

Helenius is a very average boxer.

Wilder has made a career beating very average boxers.

Tbf, it's a decent comeback fight, he needs the easy win at this point.

Anything can happen in boxing. Meaning, anyone has a chance.
The thing to watch here is to see what happens when Helenius starts to land his shots.
I don't think he'll just stand there and not evade the infamous killer punches of the Wilder.
I'm guessing he got enough preparation to avoid those shots and find a way to land his.

But I'll be watching Haney vs Kambosos 2.

Helenius is a journeyman with some power. He is poor men`s Wilder. The difference is, Helenius was stopped by Washington and Duhaupas, a fringe level guys, while Wilder has always been good enough to beat that level.

It all depends how much is it left in Wilder. He doesn`t look good mentally, he is still living in denial about Fury losses.

If Wilder loses to Helenius, he is done as world level heavyweight, that is for sure.

Helenius definitely can't take the power, he needs to land that big, straight right early and hope to hurt Wilder before he warms into the fight
