Referee Jack Reiss did a horrible job & was totally against Ocampo, for one was that he threatened to stop the fight for the mere reason of not liking how Ocampo was fighting despite not having visited the canvas or being in bad condition due to blows and he also told the commission that he was not going to take away points but instead that they fine Ocampo because according to him his team threw water in the corner on purpose and to top it off the score of the judges was terrible, one gave Ocampo 3 rounds, another only 2 and the other only 1..Ocampo had everything against him..

I think Fundora let the cat out of the bag a little while ago. Three or four fights ago in a fight pre Covid (I think) in the post fight interview he admitted he has terrible eyesight and looked off to the side and nonchalantly said "Yeah, I can't read that sign". I think his poor eyesight is why he has trouble on the outside and part of the reason why he chooses to **** on the inside. Also I dunno why boxingscene got rid of their multipost quote system, now I gotta do this weird quote first post/copy post/cancel post/quote second post/post first quote/reply thing.

I remember that comment, albeit only vaguely. I think you are onto something! Frankly I really want this guy to take a cold shower and good long look in the mirror and commit to a metamorphosis into a 7 ft Devin Haney. A natural sleep aid, yes, but possibly also unstoppable. That may be exactly what's standing in the way

It's 2022 all he needs is some Lasik surgery and he's as good as new.

Cats out of the bag, this kid beat a shopworn Lubin, but he's a glorified club fighter waiting to get stretched and bad when he get's in with a Charlo, Adames or anyone on that level..

Depends on his eyeballs. I wanted Lasik but the eye doctor told me the lens in my eye was too thin for Lasik and so I'm stuck wearing glasses for the rest of my life, dunno if Fundora has the same problem as me. I feel like if he was eligible for Lasik he would've gotten it by now, get it while you're facing journeymen and low level competition instead of facing elite boxers and punchers.

That sounds good in theory but Fundora doesn’t have the footwork to do that. He would struggle in the same way that Jarrett Hurd has struggled while trying to implement a style that’s not natural for him.

The best thing Fundora can do is add to what he already has

Fundora's a "rock 'em sock 'em" style fighter, more about workrate. Not my style, I prefer precision power punching. Two rock 'em sock 'ems can combine to throw thousands of punches at each other, yet nothing happens .

And that corner literally just dumped the bucket in the corner to stall. They didn't even make it look like an accident. It was blatant.

I think Reiss did a great job.
He was being competitive… Ocampo was landing punches. He was noticeably fatigued but it’s the 8/9th round of a championship fight fought at a high pace.

It was awful refereeing IMO, I think Reiss is a good referee generally but he got it badly wrong last night.
