Kava outworked fox with a good display of stamina and defense, but you could tell that Mean Machine as a counter puncher really struggled to be on the offensive agaisnt the much rangier and slick out-boxer, only targeting the head whenever his opponent threw his shots and no body work.

I still think he should probably fight another ranking contender to prove himself such as Crowley or Butaev.

I think they’re saving Stanionis vs Crowley for a Spence-Bud undercard, unless it doesn’t happen by December/January, but that’d be a nice matchup.

Fortunately, that is an easy fight to make it, hope it happens. If it doesn't there is still good options for him at PBC. Mean Machine mentioned in an interview that he is more than willing to move up to fight Danny Garcia if it is possible.
