We can certainly say the same for Andre as well! I do think the accomplishment was awesome anytime you can do what only a few greats like Ray Leonard or Thomas Hearns was able to accomplish. They also started their careers at Welterweight and Ray went to Light heavyweight where Tommy went all the way to Crusierweight. Then you have guys like Duran and Floyd Mayweather who started at a lower weight but however was still able to go through 5 divisions or so. I love Andre and he beat some good undefeated guys in there prime but he didn’t beat a who’s who name wise either.

I think u don't know sht about boxing and blame Canelo for Paul Williams accident since they were signed to fight each other. Also didn't u say Wilder was gonna destroy Fury????

Yeah that's what I thought... Clown

He said Benavidez fight won’t happen right now because it’s too dangerous. Lol. Bivol is better imo.

Ward sounds very jealous of Canelo and I am disappointed in hearing these opinions of him because he’s absolutely subconsciously putting Canelo on a pedestal and I am a big Ward fan.

Andre Ward could have fought Beterbiev at 175 but he retired instead. Canelo came all the way up from 147 and fought Bivol at 175.

The most dangerous fighter Ward fought was Kovalev. Well Canelo fought him too.

I wonder how “prime” does Ward place GGG (rematch), Jacobs, Lara, Trout, Callum, Saunders, Plant.

Just very disappointing hearing Ward talk like this.

Nobody has a perfect resume these days. Canelo fought some of the top fighters in a variety of weight classes. This nitpicking is just making Ward look a bit petty and bitter imo.

Age isn’t something that can be minimized, just wait and see what canelo looks like in 3 years at 35, if he’s even still fighting by that age.
Mayweather!, yes he lost, but Mayweather was still in his prime and is one of the greatest fighters of all time....you mentioned casuals....connect the dots!

Just say what eve Rey one knows. Canelo ducks prime fighters if they are at all good, especially if they’re black undefeated Americans. Charlie and Andrade have pumped that kid for a half of a decade because he is scared. David Benavidez isn’t too dangerous, he’s whoop Caneo. Old GGG beat him up for the second half of the last fight. Good Fox until we get past this BS boxing is gonna be ruled by YouTubers

As soon as I see someone start to pick apart a resume I remind them that anyone can play the Devil's advocate and pick apart all the great fighter's resumes. Doesn't change the accomplishments of fighters. I'd rather celebrate their accomplishments than belittle them when they have done so much in boxing.
