both made way more than that, well known that they list Low Fight Night Guarantees at PBC which is actually smart while they get a Bigger Check on the Back End, some say for Tax Purposes as well as reducing Sanctioning Fees, you would much rather give up 3% and Taxes for a listed $2 Million Purse rather than 3% and Taxes for a $15 Million Purse. Also too the Taxes in California are much higher (which is where the fight was) so listing the Purses Lower is actually helping the fighters more that fans think and are willing to understand

There's no proof of that. Plant always pulled in great ratings on his Fox cards, very similar to Crawford's numbers on ESPN. As far as PPV's Plant's PPV fight with Canelo sold more than the two thar followed it.
