Well it implies he doesn't have faith in himself for that fight because no matter what it will be more money than he has ever got in his life so far so if he doesn't fight spence for millions then fights a no name/average fighter for 200k its pretty evident what's up. It's risk vs reward and he knows Spence is a real risk to his 0. I have no stake in this fight btw i think Spence will win but i'm not a "fan" of either guy but they are both very good fighters.

Manny turned down the biggest purse of his career by far when Floyd rang him personally willing to transfer 1 million within 12 hrs and Manny declined and fought somebody for 80% less than he was offered, it worked out better for him by declining but nobody knew that at the time.

The point is we don't know what is in the contract, I don't think TC is holding up the fight I think he is getting the best deal he can and that means back and forth dealing until its signed.

I still think the biggest thing going for this fight is they both want it.

Was manny 35 years old at the time with next to 0 legacy like Crawford? who gets clowned on none stop due to his resume lol he can keep on risking then but it will be too late soon errol spence is 32 years old so it only benefits him the longer the fight is delayed. It's up to Crawford you're right but he hasn't earned a proper legacy imo even that fight with Porter was garbage i wasn't impressed with Crawford at all tbh i expected full domination i never rated Porter that highly he was just a pure brawler.

If Not then Bud has every right to say "No Thank You!" while fans will kick, cry and complain and call him a duck but come on, I cannot expect that man to make the same or even Less than what he made in previous fights vs the Likes of Shawn Porter to somehow now turn around and fight Spence for Less of the Same as that Guarantee was? Hell No

So fans need to understand, when fighters turn down fights sometimes Financially just didn't make sense to fight this guys for a Certain Amount of money when they have the option to fight a Less Tougher opponents for ALMOST the same money

I realize you and no one is saying these guys deserve Canelo money. That would be foolish.

But any 8 figure guarantee for both guys would be a risk for Haymon. This fight could do well but most likely doesn’t do a big enough number for both guys to really cash out. Haymon is basically saying I’ll do the fight but you guys will have to get out and market this thing to get paid well.
At the end of the day Bud put himself in this spot. He wasted his prime late 20’s and early 30’s signing and re signing with Arum and not getting the fights that would have made him a bigger star. He made that decision.
Now he’s in a spot where his options are limited outside of Spence and PBC and he’s not in a position to call any shots.
Sure he can walk away but where’s he going?

Shouldn't the man get paid accordingly if people are running around saying this is the biggest fight in boxing? They just paid Canelo and Plant all that damn money for their Undisputed fight, not saying Spence and Bud should get that but shouldn't they get what Plant Made as the MINIMUM Guarantee maybe even a little more

Haymon saw Fury do a demo job on Wilder for 3 fights. Ever sharp has Crawford obliterating Spence unless Haymon can park, shield, ice, and age for as long as he can without a tune-up before the fight happens. Crawford can't see the gross numbers or financials but he has to still sign the coontract given this is probably the biggest welterweight since Leonard/Hearns.

This man has boxers signing 360 record deal contracts. The worst thing is Crawford who had 2 fights on the books this year vs fight-less with PBC for 12 months now) leaving Top Rank. Haymon is the biggest clown in boxing with Oscar right behind him.

Arum was paying him well to fight those Tomato Cans as YOU call them so regardless he is not going to take that same amount of money or Less to fight Spence it is just NO WAY

so if he got $6 Million vs Porter... he should be getting $10-$12 Minimum Guarantee easy doubling what he made vs Porter

if not then NO FIGHT!
