I remember McGirt being in the corner for Dadashev's fight against Matias. I imagine that has to come into Buddy's mind when his fighter is taking punishment. RIP Maxim.Fighters who used their heads to block punches sometimes hire McGirt when they realize they can no longer take 2 to land one. They try to learn some defence. Lamon Brewster is one that comes to mind. McGirt is one trainer who truly does care about the fighter’s well-being & won’t hesitate to pull his fighter from a fight if he is taking a beating. True, plenty of fighters with a signature weakness in their defense. Helenius is a sucker for big right hands, even when they seem telegraphed. I really hope he spends most of his camp correcting that before fighting Wilder.

Cannot believe this waste of space is coming back, at least we know he is a chsora level type fighter and not a genuine top guyComment

I always liked Helenius & he has good power but he is pretty slow. I think it is a recipe to get Breazealed. I’m curious to see what Wilder weighs as I prefer him in the 215 range instead of in the 230s like he was for the 2nd & 3rd Fury fights. His stamina suffered from what I saw in those fights. The longer it goes the more vulnerable he becomes at that weight.Comment
