I spoke with Buddy McGirt in New York outside the Roy Jones / Calzaghe weigh-in and what this great fighter and be it under rated fighter doesn't know about boxing isn't worth knowing , he can only be an asset to Dillian and will get out what ever is left.
Newsflash: He's been out of shape for ALL of his fights, he's a fat turd.

He reminds me of Hasim Rahman. Both solid fighters but both couldn’t avoid a certain punch. Whyte can’t see the uppercut coming & Rahman had issues seeing a sneaky left hook…

I remember McGirt being in the corner for Dadashev's fight against Matias. I imagine that has to come into Buddy's mind when his fighter is taking punishment. RIP Maxim.

When did Buddy McGirt become a sleep coach?

              New trainer, same results.
Maybe a new trainer can teach the talker how to not talk so much ?

Was he ever very good, to begin with?

He arguably lost to Chisora and Parker also.

True, plenty of fighters with a signature weakness in their defense. Helenius is a sucker for big right hands, even when they seem telegraphed. I really hope he spends most of his camp correcting that before fighting Wilder.

Cannot believe this waste of space is coming back, at least we know he is a chsora level type fighter and not a genuine top guy

I always liked Helenius & he has good power but he is pretty slow. I think it is a recipe to get Breazealed. I’m curious to see what Wilder weighs as I prefer him in the 215 range instead of in the 230s like he was for the 2nd & 3rd Fury fights. His stamina suffered from what I saw in those fights. The longer it goes the more vulnerable he becomes at that weight.
