Wilder should definitely be in the Hall of Fame. Deontay said what he said about needing skill..said what he said when Mike Tyson commented. Emotion, believes the hype, social media generation, lots of pro athletes making the same foolish statements. Know the past to understand the present and prepare for the future.. Who did Vitali Klitschko bear? He’s in the Hall so the standards are not that high… He was 0-2 against his 2 best opponents…

I know right! Vitali got in the HOF with only fighting one HOFer in Lenox Lewis. Wladimir got in the HOF without fighting any other HOFers (AJs not in yet) but he deserves to be there because he had like a hundred title defenses. You look at both their records and the fighters on their resumes are just as average as the fighters on Wilder, Fury and AJs resume. So if they can get then the others can too!

Hearn has never had a kind or accurate word to say about Deontay Wilder, and let's consider why. His Father's Boxing enterprise was rebuilt by the promotion of Anthony Joshua, one of Wilders two counter-claiments for the title of World's Champion. Working to defame Wilder is simply business. But in 2022, the career trajectories of Wilder/Fury and Joshua have gone in opposite directions. The latter two both covered themselves in glory with three historic battles while Joshua, even before he could step in with one of the other two kings of his era, became a frequent loser; dropping fights badly to men that he was heavily favored to beat. Of course both Fury and Wilder are Hall of Fame shoe-ins! They co-lead the best era of Heavyweights since the 1970's, and there are, in point of fact; only a small handful of current IBHOF inductees who might hope to defeat either one of them. As for Joshua? Let's see if he'll sign to fight Fury or Wilder, and then see how well he aquits himself.

I think a lot of folks are still a bit nostalgic for the past. The 60s -90s were actually the golden age of HW boxing. Boxing fans were fortunate to be able to witness about 40-50 HOFers. Then 2000s came and it was the reign of Klitschko for over a decade. So current HWs we have now under PBC, TR and MR is the best we're gonna get. Boxing is a sport littered with young men from very meager backgrounds. During the 60-90s boxing was the only way for young athletic men to showcase their God given talent and get paid. Now you have professional Football or futbol, basketball, baseball and a ton of other sports that they can play and get paid now. So nowadays there just aren't as many potential future HOFers walking around like it was 30 40 yrs ago. So this generation of HWs is led by Fury, Wilder and AJ and whether you like it or not, they will be 1st ballot HOF.

Here we go with this straight up lie that no one believes. Wilder and his team never offered Joshua anything. They cancelled negotiations, pulled a publicity stunt and then pulled Tyson Fury out of rehab and retirement, got Wilder embarrassed and knocked out twice in a row and whined and moaned about it for two years straight. The only person who turned down real money was Wilder when he turned down $120,000,000 because he wanted to know how much money Joshua was making. Deontay Wilder should be in the Hall of Fame for number one heavyweight donkey of all time.

That $120 mill contract for Wilder was just as real as the $365 mill contract for Canelo. Neither one of them was ever going to see the end of it.
