Certain athletes have a lot of high twitch fibers and/or not the highest VO2 maxes, so naturally, they will gas easier.

Lifting weights is an important element of any modern athlete's training program, the rhetoric against it in boxing is nothing more than an outdated old wives' tale.
I wanted to call you an idiot who has absolutely no idea what they’re talking about…. But I think, at this point, that’s already a given since you’re a Joshua fan.

AJ is a good athlete and nothing more. He's one of these guys who could've turned his trade at any sport and performed it to a satisfactory level due to his size and genetics.

In terms of boxing AJ is a small character and an average boxer. There are so many heavyweights at this point who'd smoke him; Joyce, Fury, Dubois, Wilder, Zhang, Anderson, Hrgovic, and Ajagba just to name a few...

He thinks he is some sort of philosophical genius and the World is in desperate need of his enlightening speeches - the reality is he spouts huge mounts of cringe inducing crap. I don't think AJ knows who he truly is. He likes to think of himself as some sort of road man but other times comes across as some manufactured puppet using the same tired clichés from years gone by. He really is lost.

As for 18st men not being able to throw combo's.... He only has to look at Tyson Fury. Fury has very quick hands for a big man, as does Andy Ruiz and they routinely use combo's in their arsenals. AJ can't because he literally is a bodybuilder. People used to slate Frank Bruno and his physique but he got bigger as his boxing career progressed. AJ started body building first and then came into boxing, that is his problem.

Usyk's immediate reaction seemed more humane. Why kick the guy when he's down?

You better hope he does not face one of these fighters, you have just mentioned next. Because regardless if he faces Tyson Fury or not 'His next fight is going to be a world level fight'.

Joshua is a better combination puncher than Tyson Fury. Bruno is a better boxer than Joshua from long range, he had a awesome Jab and good fundamentals 'He actually knew how to tie and wrestle fighters on the inside as well'.

I am not actually bigging Joshua up here too much, just pointing out that he is a better combination puncher than Fury. And all those fighters you mentioned? All of them are winnable for Joshua, but they are dangerous fights 'They are all dangerous fights at this level'.

World Class to Elite level. The level Joshua has consistently been fighting at since his 17th professional fight.

Probably true. I just prefer Fury's combinations, they're much more cleverer - like incorporating check hooks or turning an opponent then teeing off to head and body. With AJ its usually traditional combos, I guess these are the type of things which separate World and elite level fighters.

I'm pretty sure all those fighters perhaps with the exception of Wilder and Ajagbe would would not only beat but KO AJ. Between them they have all the tools to beat him like being tough, having a solid chin, possessing power, being an awkward southpaw (Zhang), having a high ring IQ and superior footwork. Of course AJ would have a chance in the fights but I just believe all of them would get to AJ before AJ got to them.

I believe u are talking about buster mathis who fought mike tyson. I was not. I was talking about his father, who was nothing like u described and was easily 300 lbs and fast and smooth in the ring. Lewis wasn't as explosive as AJ? Lewis would beat AJ up and knock him out cold and if u dispute that, you're pretty lame, my friend. Larry Holmes at 230 still had wayyy more stamina and work rate than AJ. so don't make excuses for the man. Even AJ is starting to understand this, that's why he's trying to slim down. He built his thighs with heavy squats so he could stand his ground and punch, not to be able to move around for 12 rounds. Now he has ro revamp his training in a major way if he wants to build his stamina

He comes off as a humble dude pre fight but when he loses, he acts childish. I agree.
