You areright that it would have possibly been the same result but JMM would have looked a heck of a lot better had Floyd had to sacrifice his weight. It was clear that JMM was really slow, I could see a difference in his speed even without the contrast of Mayweather's reflexes.

I gained some weight a while back, around 12 lbs from lifting a lot of weights and I noticed that my speed was greatly diminished. I felt like I had weights attached to my arms and my reflexes were slow as well. This is just my personal experience with weight gain, so I know that it can have an affect on some people, others seem to be able to add weight and carry speed.

JMM did hit Floyd with some flush shots but they had little steam on them and did not hurt Floyd, at least it looked like they did not hurt him. I'd guess the weight made a big difference but judging by what I saw, Floyd would have won anyway had they both been at the same weight (some weight where Floyd had to sacrifice a little) but JMM would have looked a little better.

Michael Jordan and Sugar Ray are ****y like Floyd? Show me one clip of the aformentioned two guys making it rain with thousands of dollars. Show me those guys stuffing a bag full of money (1mill). Eminem is rich and ****Y but how come we dont hate him. Our race embraces Marshall. To the comment "the bar I was at had every white guy rooting for floyd) Thats the equivalent to "I have alot of black friends" lol
I'm white and TRUST ME I am privvy to all the racial comment slung at Floyd. You know those comments that arent said when there is a black guy in the room? Yeah, I work in criminal justice and TRUST ME, the racial epithets are slung Floyds way in machine gun like fashion. So dont give me that bs about race doesnt play a part in the dislike of Floyd Mayweather. Lastly, even the KKK denies that they are racists thats why they wear Hoods.

Weight, height and reach were all huge factors. Add those to Mayweather's defensive and counterpunching skill, and you have a fight where the smaller guy hardly lands a punch. Which is pretty much exactly what happened.

What kind of an idiot would expect anything else? I gave Marquez a 1 in 200 chance at a win before the fight, and I think that was about right.

Put simply if PBF went down 2 weight divisions we would have seen a different fight. Why didnt PBF fight Hatton at 140? This should explain it without me having to go into detail.

Out of curiousity, why the username "Hugh Grant"? By the way, my wife has a great big fat cum-swallowing crush on the guy.

There was no excuse, Floyd was only moving up one weight division, and fighting a fighter who's best days were obviously behind him.
Did size matter when the smalller pacman fought Oscar?
Yes, of course it mattered. Which is why De La Hoya had to come down to a weight where he hadn't fought in in several years, which was a task in its own.

Both are welterweights fighting in the welterweight division, why is this even an example of the point you are trying to make?

Pernell witaker and SSM did better against DLH when DLH was in his prime. DLH werent that great when PBF fought him, but DLH still took him to a draw. PBF should have done what Pac did. Like for like. You cant say the DLH pac fought wasnt as good as the one PBF fought. You would need proof and we just havent got that apart from maybe dlh was weight drained.
Listen to what it was like to fight Pac by DLH. He had never fought anyone with that kind of speed and movement.
