How did floyd weighing more than JMM dictate the outcome of the fight more than the fact that floyd is leagues better techinally, 5x faster and on a defense level JMM hasnt come close to seeing?

The extra weight would have only benefitted floyd 2 ways, more power and more resilance to JMM punches.

JMM wasnt knocked out so obviously PBF wasnt so big and strong he couldnt hang with him.

JMM also didnt and a single meaningfull punch the entire fight. So you cant say PBF was so big he couldnt hurt him.



Ive also seen a few idiots coment about the reach advantage. Obviously youve never seen a Paul williams fight if you think floyd had a gross reach advanatge.

You forgot to mention how Floyd being much bigger was able to just drop down and lean on Marquez' head when ever Juan got close enough to do it. Floyd was just too big and too strong for the little Juan Marquez.

Floyd didn't knock out Marquez because he did not try it his ever loving hardest. That is not in Floyd's temperament anymore. Floyd is so worried about losing that he wont risk going for the knock out like other fighters might. Floyd is the kind of person that feels that if he get's lucky, then so be it, he got lucky knocking some one out. (A la Hatton) Floyd threw that Check Hook nearly 200 times before he finally caught the lunging leprechaun with it. That fight almost went the distance but that lucky punch finally landed. 1) JMM didnt land enough punches to validate this statement.
