Imagine if boxing finished before 11 … people would actually watch it

There are two things that infuriate me about Top Rank/ESPN cards. The first is that they never seem to start on time because whatever event that precedes it always spills over onto the boxing time slot. The second thing is that the main events always seem to kick off after 11pm and closer to midnight at times.

Awful numbers. HBO was doing 1 million views despite being in way less households than ESPN. No one has built stars since HBO left boxing. We need HBO back in boxing. Now that HBO has become a gutter network, catering to the tik tok crowd, Boxing will fit with HBO better than ever.

It's ironic, HBO got rid of Boxing because it didn't jive with their more cultured brand, only for HBO to quickly become an even more uncultured brand than boxing. You now have grosser crap happening in the majority of HBO shows than ever happened on an HBO Boxing telecast.

HBO, if you're going to show simulated necrophilia in even your Emmy winning shows (which shows what a sewer nest the Emmy's are now too), then you can show Boxing too! Andy Ruiz is a fat ass that's his problem. Top Rank did a great job with Crawford he sold out arenas and did big numbers on espn. Top rank built de la hoya, mayweather, and cotto. You dont know anything dummy.

Andy Ruiz has been a fat ass his whole life, he made the Mexican Olympic team being a fat ass. He won the world title and made history doing it taking it from the champion…while being a fat ass. Fighters that sale out arenas are Cánelo, Joshua, etc fighters can sell out places they’re not even from. Hbo got out of the boxing business because with did t have anymore stars in the sport and therefore didn’t have anymore
compelling fights. They didn’t have ANY American stars at all and sought to have stars who were Eastern Europeans and Mexicans and that just didn’t work. Had they had access to pbc stars it would have been different.
