Pedraza has the focus, and discipline to execute that game plan, while Lopez doesn't have the concentration to find away around getting out boxed.
Teofimo has definitely lost something (his all around boxing ability), electing to come at his opponent's like a puncher, which nullifies everything else he used to do.
I think this is all his father's doing, putting it in his son's head that he can knockout everyone within the first few round's, and it has turned Lopez into a mediocre fighter.
Pedraza is a good boxer with a great stamina but his real problem is the power at 140 is a must to have some pop which is missing from him I see Teo having no problem with Pedraza.

Pedraza has just as much pop in his punches as Kambosos does, and Kambosos didn't have much of a problem in winning a decision over Lopez.
As a matter of fact Pedraza could've had about 4 more knockout's on his record, but for some reason he doesn't go all out for a knockout when he's gotten his opponent's hurt.
Could be he's to much a of a humanitarian, and just doesn't want to hurt his opponent's anymore than he has to for the win.
If that's the case he's going to have to change his ring moniker to sharpshooter, as opposed to sniper which is indicative of one shot one kill.
I still thinks he outpoints Lopez, moreover I believe that Subriel Matias knock's Lopez out, or makes him quit in the ring, that's how much of a murderous puncher he is.

Pedraza's Coach: Teofimo Lopez Brings Nothing To The Table!
          February 4, 2019

One of the possible fights being discussed with Pedraza, is a confrontation against Teofimo López, an opponent who brings little appeal to the Puerto Rican boxer's team. They see no upside in beating an undefeated, rising contender in Lopez - unless there is something of worth at stake.

"The question we have to ask ourselves is what can he bring to the table? To our judgment, nothing. If he wants to use us as a ladder to climb up, he's wrong, "Espada reacted to Carlos Gonzalez. "We're going to look upwards and not answer the call to help elevate someone else.

"It seems that Teofimo thinks that since José looked good against Lomachenko, he can use him to make a name for himself. The only way he would be attractive for us is if there is a title at stake."

Teofimo Lopez won’t be fighting Arnold Barboza Jr next time out, but he’s still in for a real fight. Julius Julianis reports that “The Takeover” will meet Jose Pedraza atop a December 10th ESPN card at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater.

Pedraza's coach is wrong as far as I'm concerned, that fight would be an elimination type fight, knocking off one, and elevating the other, winner virtually guaranteed a shot at the title.
Moreover Teofimo doesn't have a title at the moment, and may never win another, but if he were to win a title he might just shut Pedraza out of a title shot.
Just looked what has happened to Keith Thurman for not giving Spence a opportunity, Spence paid him back in spade's, especially when it would've been worth more money.

They must've offered Espada enough money to change his mind, I'll be watching their fight 12/10/2022, on ESPN thanks for the early head's up.

Still would've liked to have seen Matias vs Lopez, since Matias' fight was cancelled due to his opponent's inability to get his passport, (super su****ious).
It might not have been a passport issue at all, it was more than likely that Ponce finally realized just how much of a murderous puncher Matias is.

For all intent's, and purpose's he is the pride of Puerto Rico at this point in time, and if he were to fight Teofimo he would be taught who is (The Takeover)!

its pro boxing. right or wrong, its all about star power. doesnt matter if teo hasnt done anything in the division, he beat loma which is better than anything barboza has done. if you have star power you can go to any division and pick and choose who you want to fight. boxing history tells us this.

They wouldn't let Sniper fight him in 2019, but now they're willing to do it, even without a title! It's gonna be a great test for Teofimo, and "do or die" for Pedraza!

Still mad about Matias vs. Ponce, but I hope Browny makes him pay for it in the ring! After Ponce, I want Gary Antuanne russell or Shohjahon Ergashev! Those are good fights too!

Matias is good enough, and tough enough to take on anyone in the division right now, but I'd like him to start with big mouth Teofimo.
Ponce is ranked # 16, and there's no telling when homeboy is going to get his passport, or enough nerve (or so it seem's), to face Matias.
Ponce already reneged on the scheduled fight date, and he did so on short notice not allowing the promoter, and the fighter an option to fight someone else.
He should be punished by the IBF, with a suspension of fighting for their organization's title for a year, if fighters have to face stiff penalties like that, then they won't be cancelling their scheduled title fights in the future.
Ergashev is # 47, so I don't see that as a viable opponent for Matias who is # 13, he's going forward where the title's at not backward's where the title isn't.
Now Barboza # 10, Antuanne # 6, Lopez # 3, those are all exceptional fights for Matias, and they're all ahead up in the ranking, those should be his target's.
He's already called out Prograis, so he's focused on what he has to do to get to win that IBF Championship Title, he fights like a hard nosed throw back fighter!

He never lost anything he simply doesn’t have the next level skill set nor mindset needed.

You already know the politics, so unless Matias is going to sign with Top Rank, he's not fighting Pedraza, nor Teofimo Lopez! Ergashev is currently ranked #4 by the IBF! He's 30 years old, 23-0 w/ 20KOs! I would love to see him fight Matias, once Matias is the IBF Champion! Gary Antuanne Russell is IBF # 11, but he's also WBC #4, so I think he'll go the WBC route. However all 3 are with PBC, so anything can happen! Sergey Lipinets is back @ 140, so he'll be in the mix too! 140 is red hot!
