He's 30 years old, 23-0 w/ 20KOs! I would love to see him fight Matias, once Matias is the IBF Champion! Gary Antuanne Russell is IBF # 11, but he's also WBC #4, so I think he'll go the WBC route. However all 3 are with PBC, so anything can happen! Sergey Lipinets is back @ 140, so he'll be in the mix too! 140 is red hot!
I was going by this platforms ranking's not the organizations ranking's, it's their belt's up for grabs, so I should've checked their ranking's.
It was just easier for me to look it up here, just plain lazy on my part, but Matias would definitely knockout Lipinets, and Ergashev although in a much tougher fight.
Russell, Prograis, Zepeda, Love, and Ramirez, would be the toughest fights for him in the division, whether they get made or not we can only speculate, because no one know's the future.
Those are just my thought's, what I'd like to see happen, that this organization's fighters won't fight that organization's fighters is all bull**** to me, just like Canelo won't fight Mexican's.
What the hell is that fool talking about, what I think he's really saying is I'm not fighting those tall, young, undefeated fighters, Benavidez, and Ramirez.
True champions fight fighters from every country, that's what qualifies them as world champions, and yes that does include their own countries fighters.
There are such a thing as unification bouts, and undisputed bouts, so you can't say that he's not going to fight this fighter, or that fighter, because it can, and has happened in the past, and it will happen again in the future.

There's always hope, but cross-promotion fights don't usually happen, unless they're both big draws at the box office! Browny is not a big attraction , and Ponce hurt his chance to perform in NYC! Matias is high-risk, low reward! If he was with Top Rank, then Matias vs. Pedraza would be a no-brainer for PR Parade Weekend! Matias vs. Lopez at MSG would be huge too!
