ggg isn't elite at all. Every time he steps up in competition, he either gets beat or have controversial fights where he should have lost like jacobs and derevyanchenko. He has never beaten a top guy clearly. Spence has fought most of the best welterweights and have beaten them clean.
If spence and ggg are at the same weight hypothetically, spence would demolish him.

There a lot of boxing fans, across the board, who states that Spence isn't elite but GGG is. I want to know why? GGG has the edge in power, jab, chin, and maybe footwork but that's about it. Spence is the better counter-pucher, just as good at cutting off the ring and fighting on the inside, he has the better defender, and he is much more athletic. Can someone explain to me why Spence doesn't get as much credit as GGG even though he has the better resume and has been more consistent?
