Of course Chris is going to say that when he knocked Andy down and had a close fight with him.

Chris probably won only 1 round, maybe 2.

Fury would be hard for Ruiz if Fury boxed all night from way outside. That reach is incredible. However, Ruiz has often fought much bigger guys ... and usually finds ways to get inside. He is a terror to taller fighters when he gets close. Fury would be no different. Fury likes to throw short hooks and short, hard punches. If he did that against Ruiz it would definitelyt get him in trouble. Will Fury box all night from outside? It's a good question. I think his ego would make him go "in there" to show Ruiz who is boss. I think eventually a much closer fight breaks out ... and Ruiz will have his chances.

Certainly Ruiz has enough power to be dangerous for Fury. Certainly Fury WILL be dangerous for Ruiz. It could even get embarrassing for Ruiz. It also could turn into a really good fight. Fury's size and reach should keep him out of trouble, but it's not guaranteed to do so.

In a similar fashion the same is true in a fight with Wilder. Ruiz would be VERY dangerous for Wilder ... and Wilder's power and reach could be very dangerous for Ruiz. I think Ruiz's chances are much better against Wilder, as Fury has so much height, weight, and reach. Wilder's lighter weight makes him more vulnerable to Ruiz's power in those quick combinations he can throw. I still don't know if Wilder can take big head shots from someone with Ruiz's power. The Helenius fight might give some indication on that.

Ruiz vs Usyk is a superfight. Both guys have some serious advantages over the other .... and with their shared "smaller" size, this fight would be a war. Usyk is the better boxer, but not by as much as some might think. Ruiz definitely would hve a big power advantage. Either guy could get knocked out over the course of 12. This would be a marquee fight. I would expect a topsy-turvy fight, with each guy having some incredible moments. How it would wind up is a guess, but if it went to a decision it would favor Usyk. If the fight ends early by anything beyond a bad cut, I think Ruiz would win.

Lol he wouldnt win a round for ****s sake. They'd double or triple him in landed punches.

Now, could he go the distance? yeah probably. Thats about it.

Chris is right. Andy has all the makings of a champion.

It's like Ali said "Bloat like a bumblebee, squeal like a pig." Or something like that.

I don't hear anyone calling Ruiz out now that he is ready to fight and at least a few weeks ago was in decent shape. Ruiz and Joyce are the most avoided heavyweights out there. Ruiz proved what he was made of against Joshua. More than just a pizza delivery guy. Joyce showed it to against Parker. Although Parker couldn't carry Joshua's jock strap.

He can`t. Ruiz can`t compete with top guys. Fury wins every round, Wilder knocks him out, Usyk is too fast. Joyce walks him down.

Fury would most likely try to get inside and that would give Ruiz a chance to unload and it would be a question if Fury would want to stay inside after that. Joshua didn't want to do that. My guess is since Joshua couldn't knock Ruiz out he would try to do that. Fury won't do much damage on the outside other than an accumulation of lighter punches. If he tries to get wild with fighters like Usyk or Ruiz who know how to box he will look foolish and could get hurt.

Wilder is a difficult call. It could be a superfight. If Ruiz has the same toughness he did when he was poor it would be a really hard fight for Wilder. I think it may be the type of fight that fans call for a rematch.

Usyk would have the advantage to outwork Ruiz. Ruiz would likely come in at his lightest weight. Usyk should be able to direct the fight on his terms but if he mixes it up with Ruiz it would tell us how tough Usyk is.

The question with Ruiz is always how he holds down his weight in between fights. He has been so inactive since he beat Joshua. Is he still motivated?
