So she has a very manufactured record? Unsurprising based on her ability..The overwhelming majority of her title wins were against ridiculously overmatched opponents in vacant title fights.
She has only fought against someone who has held a legitimate title 9 times in 46 fights and she's 7-2 in those fights.
Compare that to Cecilia Braekhus who went 15-2 against world titlists in 38 fights and didn't lose one until she was almost 40.
Serrano has made a total of 6 title defenses across 10 title reigns in 7 divisions. Braekhus made 25 successful defenses in one reign.Comment

She has exploited the WBO's habit of allowing a reigning WBO champion to immediately challenge for a title in a new division. She basically just waited for a vacant belt to pop up in any division she could make and swooped in to vulture those belts against sham opposition.
She's like Demetrius Andrade except she actually DOES fight a world titlist every few years or so.Last edited by famicommander; 09-24-2022, 06:12 PM.Comment

She isn't very good at all and her opponents are absolute abysmal. Womens boxing is so bad and there is such little depth I think just about any woman who went into a gym and had some sort of athletic or natural ability and the right mindset could have success. I see these women box and if I didn't know any better I'd have thought they didn't even have any training or certainly very little. Its genuinely that bad.
That woman who Natasha Jonas absolutely iced like was top 5 like are you ****ing kidding me, really?
I am dead serious when I say the only true decent female boxer out there is Claressa Sheilds. She is the only one whose skills I respect. Good athlete, good solid fundamentals and ring IQ.
Taylor also I suppose but she only ever has 4-5 good rounds in her. All her fights just follow the same pattern looks good zipping in and out for 4-5 rounds then gasses and manages to steal another 1 or 2 on the way while going absolute life and death.
I'm sorry I just can not remotely take womens boxing serious though I will watch Sheilds & Taylor, Marshall for her power.
Obviously a boxing fan over MMA but I'd genuinely rather watch female MMA than I would boxing. I think some of the women there actually have better hands than a lot of the female boxers actually - Shevchenko, Nunes, Aldana to name a fewComment

I’m no aficionado on women’s boxing but I’ve watched most of supposedly top level fighters and I agree that Shields is by far the best. She isn't very good at all and her opponents are absolute abysmal.
