They don't sound like they want the fight, didn't they just disappear for 10 days out of "respect for the queen"??? And they gave a 24 hour deadline before that to accept the fight. Seems like they are just trying to wriggle out of it at every turn. Tyson has got the 60/40 split. What else does he want??

Probably streaming rights disputes. You have ESPN with BT Sports fighting with DAZN. The fight probably won't happen tbh.

Every time Frank speaks it's an obstacle or deadline. It just reeks of dodgy dealings.

Just let Tyson do the deal himself. Stop making obstacles!

There's no reason why this fight shouldn't be made for this year.

It would be the biggest all British heavyweight fight since Lewis-Bruno.

Lmao at people crying saying “why a deadline” the fight has to be made for early December. That’s the reason fury/usyk isn’t next cause fury staying active don’t wanna wait to long. It’s damn near October thats 8 week camp and promoting. And ya take it or leave it. Wtf is AJ worth? The outcome of this fight is a given. The hold up is basically DAZN weighing whether or not fury knocking out AJ is worth more to them then AJ trying to rebuild and get this fight down the road. Which won’t happen IMO as fury on his way out probably a couple more fights for him left if that

And both had, at the very least, a reasonable chance to win the fight and bring the belt back to GBP/DAZN.
I swear boxing sometimes...(well, all the time)!

Not going to speculate with who is to blame but Hearn’s track record for not finalizing the big fights & losing purse bids is becoming a regular thing. He lost the purse bid for his Fighter to face Pascal in the IBF eliminator & if he doesn’t seal this Joshua fight how can anyone not question his effectiveness as a promoter? The list of fights that didn’t happen involving him is growing…
