The numbers are not accurate and are inflated. The fight was a flop. Overpaying ggg, canelo gets even more $$$, spending on stuff like the pyros, tunnels and **** is not cheap, paying for the undercard, etc...They needed way more to break even and fell short. The fight wasn't even promoted properly. Canelo/plant did way better numbers and was promoted right. This goes to show how overrated this fight was considering they called it the biggest fight in boxing when canelo did way better numbers with plant, a guy is not considered a major draw.
