No value at all, the original contracts were a complete mess and they gave themselves absolutely no leverage as it was guaranteed. GGG was being paid 8 figures to fight Steve Rolls. Crazy.

Was it even PPV in all those countries?

I’m sure it did massive numbers in the early hours of the morning.

        Idiot.

For reference it was only PPV in the US, UK & Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. As I said the international revenue isn’t even worth mentioning.

I suspect that it was a complete financial disaster.

Hearn has fallen off big time, it won't be long before DAZN need yet another bailout from that Russian billionaire.

When I see contracts like this I think Pablo Escobar is still alive and funding sporting events. I can't see how DAZN could ever recoup their money paying Alvarez to fight street sweeper types with paper belts like Fielding or the German based Turk in a mandatory squash match.

At least HBO used common sense and had frugal minimums with PPV upside. With Golovkin the contract was even worse...

Canelo vs. GGG 3 will be on DAZN PPV in the U.S. ($64.99 for current subscribers and $84.98 for new subscribers, which includes one month’s subscription to DAZN), Canada (CAD $64.99 for current and CAD $89.98 for new subscribers), the UK and Ireland (£9.99/€9.99 for current and £17.98/€17.98 for new subscribers), Australia ($44.99 AUD for current and $58.98 for new subscribers) and New Zealand ($24.99 NZD for current and $39.98 for new subscribers).

Now you guys can do all the estimations you like. I wouldn’t be surprised at 100-200k in the UK. Not much revenue, but likely enough for the undercards (if it even did that).

Americans really get treated like schmucks though I gotta say.

                      Kinahan was doing it…

It’s sad HBO is out the game, their production was next level.
