He'll either fight him, or vacate that WBC title @ 168. I want to see if he would rather vacate than to fight Benavidez? Remember, he was supposed to fight Charlo, but the WBC created that "Franchise" belt! Will they do it again?

Canelo stops David. I have a hard time understanding why more difficult competition is demanded of canelo than say charlo. Simple it’s because he’s the better fighter but charlo fans should demand more from their guy. You’d think only one of them is held to any standard

I hope not. Benavides is the only credible opponent at 168. Charlo would come up to fight him but that excuse of going up in weight is rebuilt in. The other problem is Canelo's surgery and recovery time, there is no saying if he will pick a top fighter when he comes back, vacate or the sanctioning bodies bend over at let him plan his way through.

Canelo has been reliable in saying his path and who he wants next so the sanctioning bodies might wait him out to collect those sanctioning fees.

These fooken spoiled kids today think all they got to do is fight soft opposition and then they can get a payday. Fookum. Fight real tuff guys in your weight class and EARN a fight against the champ.

When did boxing become about turning down the top contenders in the division because of their accomplishments? Obviously, they have done enough to reach a #1 or #2 ranking in the weight class, so if the undisputed champion refuses to fight them, they will never reach the accomplishments being spoken of. These sanctioning bodies are going to have to start to immediately mandate these fights, otherwise this so called "champion ", will be able to avoid these truly dangerous and talented fighters without relinquishing the belts for the accomplishments to be fought for.

He will vacate, he really doesn't want these dangerous fighters, the talent and risk is too much for him at this point. You saw him Saturday, he would get beat to sleep.

You understand that he gave up his belt and took the "franchise " belt when he was his mandatory to avoid the fight. More fandom and bullshxt.

I definitely don't think that after what I saw Saturday, Cinnabon won't make it out of a ring with David awake. But we'll never know because Ginger will continue with the excuses and accomplishments narrative.

That's my problem with Charlo! He'll go up for Canelo, but not Benavidez! WEAK!

Actually, I only saw the highlights! I didn't pay for that! Waiting on Spence vs. Crawford! I do understand Canelo telling Charlo and Beanvidez to fight each other first! That makes perfect sense! Now if he didn't fight the winner, I would have a serious problem with him after that!
