Not at all, I've just watched all of his fights and know that his style is constant pressure with volume power punches. His stamina is ridiculous and he has a great chin; all he needs to beat Canelo. Canelo likes to be the aggressor, but he won't be able to, Benavidez is too big and he is always forcing the action. He has a long jab and uses his frame well. This Cinnabon from Saturday will get slumped in ugly fashion.

The only way Canelo loses to Benavidez is if he shows up in half-ass shape. As you say, Benavidez is a high-volume pressure fighter, which means he's there to be hit. Withstanding the punches of Anthony Dirrell is different from standing up to Canelo. David Benavidez throws nice combinations, but he does not have great feet or great head movement. Canelo has the best beard in the division so he's not sweating Benavidez's power, at all. Benavidez has the perfect style to catch a beating from Canelo. Canelo is going to abuse that big body.

Nope, fantasies are nice, but he got punched on in the first GGG fight, he did ok in the 2nd, but definitely shouldn't have won; a draw at the most. But Saturday, he was ass and dumpster juice. That version of Cinnabon would get thrashed and broken against Benavidez or Charlo. He only looked slightly younger than GGG and was scared to attack. Did I mention slow as molasses? And, he still ran out of gas. He would most certainly take a thorough whooping from either fighter.

mybe you’re right, charlo should move on. Or he can move up to challenge canelo or Benavides. Catch Benavides while ppl are big on him because that hype may not last long

If Benavidez wants the fight he should "cross the street" right - but it makes zero as to why the PBC still haven't put together any mix of Benavidez, Plant, Charlo or Morrell Jr; all of them are good fights and they could have an in-house tournament.

All those would be David's biggest fight , problem is none of the guys you mentioned want that smoke w/ Benavidez . Morrell Jr said he wanted that smoke , only for his trainer to walk it back .

Canelo was Andrade's mandatory at 154 and he ran from that fight to fight James Kirkland. Canelo is really a fraud.

BEnabidez has a point, regardless of not having a marquee oponent on his record, he is ranked below canelo. At one point is the champion obligated to defend against the number 2 ranked? Canelo can make a host of excuses about benavidez, I call BS cause he fought Chavez Jr, a nobody and a fight nobody wanted to see. Let's just be honest, he doesn't want to take the risk, period. He sees someone faster, taller, combination puncher, good stamina and chin. Someone that can fight inside and outside. Anyone who knows anything about boxing, knows full well benavidez is one of the biggest threats for anyone in that weight class.
