hold up there I made a thread about the trilogy being boring only because of how many rounds total they fought and no real drama has happened in 3 full fights. Had the 3rd fight been there only one I would not have called it boring.

people where wanting a definitive end to the trilogy that’s why you heard people booing in the crowd when even I felt it unnecessary. Plus it made it worst when canelo said he wanted the KO himself and was going to look for it from round 1 which I think he did but just couldn’t pull it off

The result was as definitive as it could get canelo clearly dominated. For those thinking we were gonna get a KO between two guys with all time great chins shows you how little they know the sport.

this was the conclusion of a trilogy that had two close high action fights that ended in controversial decisions. This was a dud because golovkin looked old and timid. Even with Golovkin opening up a bit in the later rounds, they both started clinching in the final seconds of round 12. They couldn't even close out the fight excitingly.

Even judges were crazy because of Canelo's dominance. If GGG won the last round, fight would end as DRAW.

I had it 8-4 Canelo by the way. Some of the rounds in the first half were very close though, where I gave a slight edge to Canelo. So 7-5 or 6-6 Canelo was doable. Heck, 7-5 for GGG was doable if it was Canelo style judging.

But when Loma or Usyk twirl and prance around the ring for 12 rds against lesser comp we get "oh my God incredible that was a masterclass performance" lol

I think people resent how long he made GGG wait
even the 1st fight took a while & this trilogy took 4 years by itself
GGG aged noticeably
to a point where it affected his performances.
can you imagine if they had the trilogy back to back all those years ago?

Canelo wasn't sensational dominating ggg and looked tired, plus his explosiveness was gone in the 2nd half of the fight. ggg is shot as f'ck and canelo couldn't pull the trigger. Both guys were horrid in the 3rd fight. Deal with it.
