People mad cuz Canelo dominated GGG instead of a back n forth war. Lol

Haters wanted to see Canelo get beat up come back and go to war. They're not happy Canelo dominated GGG without much trouble now they're left with "it was boring" lol

But when Loma or Usyk twirl and prance around the ring for 12 rds against lesser comp we get "oh my God incredible that was a masterclass performance" lol

    Some things never change.

I don't know anyone who legitimately thought going into the fight that this fight was going to be a competitive back and forth war. GGG was a 5-1 underdog for a reason. People were expecting Canelo to destroy him and knock him out. That didn't happen.

I’m a Canelo fan and I wanted to see Canelo push for that KO he promised. I knew he wasn’t going to get it, but he didn’t even try. His activity level was not that of a fighter gunning for a KO.

I predicted Canelo would beat up GGG for 12 rounds. He couldn’t even do that. Damn near allowed GGG back in the fight in the second half.

Whatever Canelo is doing in the gym for stamina, clearly doesn’t work. There’s a saying, if it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it. Canelo’s stamina is broken and has been for a while. He needs to fix it and he’s running out of time. He isn’t this big, 1 punch KO artist.

Canelo threw 505 punches in the first fight, 622 punches in the rematch, and now all of a sudden vs an older, less active, sitting duck GGG, Canelo decides to throw 400 something punches.

It was a pathetic performance by Canelo, saved only by GGG being even worse than him. But at least GGG threw more punches.

Canelo should stay far away from a Bivol rematch or Zurdo. And his ambitions of fighting Usyk, while legendary, would be pointless.

He needs to turn his attention to easier fights at 168 like Benavidez and Charlo.

Look around here a lot of people here had ggg not only winning but even stopping canelo.

Hate really blinds people's common sense.

Until the late four rounds in which GGG wasn't able to win all of them against the already tired Canelo, now that the trilogy is done people should stop bringing up a rematch and instead focus on what opposition he is going to face the next four years.

Even judges were crazy because of Canelo's dominance. If GGG won the last round, fight would end as DRAW.

I made a thread here talking about if the history of past fights between these two would influence th judges the other way meaning would they be generous to G because of his years of crying about Close fights and it looks like I was right they gave him rds based on not getting dropped or wobbled around pitty rds if you will.

Ggg won 2-3 rds max the judges were horrible.

Not sure why you think he can improve his stamina at this stage of his career. All fighters have a celing in certain departments, Canelo is a super disciplined elite fighter but has always had only okay stamina for a top level fighter. He has consistently been a 40-45 punch a round guy throughout his career.

He has got better at managing 12 rounds with experience, but he's never going to be able to consistently throw lots of punches.

He zings every punch with near to full power which probably compounds the issue, but that is his style, it's brought him great success, I can't see it changing much now.

He also uses a lot of head and upper body movement, its a tiring way to fight.

The rest of what you're saying I agree with.

I don’t remember seeing people saying Golovkin would dominate and stop Canelo. But I remember a lot of y’all saying Canelo would make easy work of Golovkin and stop him.
