I tried telling ya'll that the fight was boring and shitty as fuck. However, ya'll didn't believe me; Especially you Canelo apologists. Now even Oscar De La Hoya is confirming what I had already known.

Canelo should have easily put that version of GGG away but he was too afraid of taking the necessary risks in order to do so for fear of getting hit too much by Golovkin.

So, therefore he decided to play it safe by carrying Gennady across the finish line. i guess the dog in Canelo had left him after all.

I don't think the size is the issue here, considering that he is actually below Saunders and Plant in terms of size, Personally I don't think Canelo should actually fight at light heavyweight. He already is pushing it fighting at 168 being smaller than the average fighter at middleweight.

But Canelo was unprepared on how relentless Bivol would be. Even if he brought a proper gameplan it is difficult to see Canelo pull it off, Bivol has his number just like many Great fighters couldn't beat specific fighters in the past.

Do the writers on here even watch the fights ? “Lopsided decision” . Should have been lopsided but was 1 round in it on 2 cards , the opposite of lopsided

I mean DLH & Golden Boy were the ones who started the whole "marinate" "cash-cow" thing with Canelo, and it was while they were together that he was awarded some of his most egregious scorecards, and I am not a big fan of DLH as a promoter.

But his general sentiment isnt wrong.
GGG is/was way too old, and didn't do anything for the 1st half of the fight. Canelo recognized this and just coasted to an easy W, also his injury may have played a part in that. The first two fights (save some questionable scoring) were awesome. This fight, was not.
